Southern Ag Vantage Grass Killer is for post-emergent control of perennial and annual grass weeds in non-crop sites, non-food sites, and ornamentals. Southern Ag Vantage Grass Killer is a selective herbicide effective against a wide variety of weeds, but does not control broadleaf weeds or sedges. Basically all grasses are affected by Southern Ag Vantage Grass Killer including grass crops like corn, sorghum, rice, and small grains, as well as, turfgrass and ornamental lawns. In order to control all vegetation you may need to use a broadleaf herbicide.

If you have a centipede lawn, this is a great product. Be sure to spray at least 12 hours before any rain. Takes awhile(1 to 2 weeks) to see any results.

Post emergent products like Vantage will only kill the weeds you are targeting when they are in an actively growing state and are absorbing nutrients. If they are dormant already, it will not absorb the product at all and will not be affected by it.
