Read Full Answer »According to the manufacturer, the Spartan Mosquito Eradicator should initially be filled with warm water and then placed to hang on a tree or shrub. It is suggested to check the water level in the Eradicator weekly as rain or really dry climates can affect the water present. The Eradicator lasts for 90 days and during that time it can be refilled if it is necessary. A new Eradicator should be used every 90 days. -

Hi, we tried your tubes last summer to great result! Just wondering if the chemical used is safe for birds that eat mosquitoes?AThe small amount of active a mosquito ingests from the Spartan Mosquito Eradicator will not harm birds if they were to then eat those mosquitoes.

The Spartan Mosquito Eradicator does not contain a fungicide, but rather a proprietary ingredient that when mixed with warm water draws mosquitoes in and inhibits them from breeding and kills them.Â

We have a severe, I mean severe problem with outdoor gnats. To the point that you need to wear head netting the whole time you are outside. We have a river running through our neighborhood and a golf course up the road. It is so badthat the golf course had the DNR come in and try to eradicate the problem. But to no avail. The gnats live in the grass and once you start walking they come up. Getting pretty tired of wearing the head netting. Any way of at least cutting the population a little? ThanksASpartan Mosquito Eradicator would not be used for gnats.  Onslaught Insecticide is labeled for gnats. You can use it both indoors and outdoors. It offers a 30 day residual inside and 90 days residual outside. You will apply at a rate of 1 oz per gallon of water.Â

We purchased the Spartan Mosquito Pro Tech and container says to replace every 30 days. Why does the Spartan Eradicator say 90 days?AWe do not carry the Pro tech only the Spartan Mosquito Eradicator so we cannot advise. You can contact spartan directly to see why they have different replacement times. We apologize we cannot be more of assistance.
