Surrender PesTabs cannot be sprayed on mattresses or box springs or other furniture. We recommend using Bedlam or Steri-Fab on mattresses and box springs, headboards, footboards and other furniture. We also carry several different bedbug kits to fit almost any need, and mattress and box spring encasements to help eliminate bedbug infestations.

Yes, Surrender PesTabs and all of our products are safe as long as you follow the instructions on the product label. When mixed with water, these products are only strong enough to kill small insects. You should keep all children and pets out of the room while you are treating. Use common sense when applying, you obviously do not want to spray on any toys or around pets food and water bowls. Wait 30 minutes for product to dry, then it is perfectly safe for children and pets to re-enter the room.

Is it safe to use PesTabs to treat my porch and grass for fleas, will it kill the eggs?

You can apply Surrender PesTabs to your porch and grass safely for fleas, but it is not known for killing flea eggs. There are not actually many products at all that can kill flea eggs. Our most popular item for flea control outdoors is our Outdoor/Indoor Flea Control Kit.

Do Surrender PesTabs have expiration dates?

A

Surrender PesTabs should be stored away from extreme temperatures and have a 2-4 year shelf life from the date of purchase. If they are dissolved in water, you should use the mixed solution within 24 hours of mixing.

As long as the treated areas had a chance to dry before the rain started you should not need to reapply Surrender PesTabs for 30 days.

Can Surrender PesTabs be dissolved and used as a root drench for aphids in potted plants?
I have read that lambda-cyhalothrin is effective against aphids. If Surrender PesTabs are not suitable, do you have any other products with the same active ingredient designed for a root drench application? Also, I am considering a drench with imidacloprid instead.

Surrender PesTabs cannot be used as a systemic insecticide. The active ingredient lambda-cyhalothrin is a synthetic pyrethroid and like almost all synthetic pyrethroids it binds to the soil and can not move through the root system of the plant. The active ingredient lambda-cyhalothrin is a synthetic pyrethroid and like almost all synthetic pyrethroids it binds to the soil and can not move through the root system of the plant. We do recommend using products with the active ingredient Imidacloprid for systemic applications. Merit can be used as a soil drench, soil injection, trunk injection or foliage spray.

Is it safe to use dishes that were sprayed with Surrender PesTabs if they are thoroughly washed?

A

Surrender PesTabs should not be applied to dishes or food handling surfaces. When used inside it was only for cracks and crevices if applied in cabinets. Dishes should be washed thoroughly before using if contact is made.
