I would recommend spraying for any flying insects like mosquitos. Talstar P (Talstar One) is a good spray to use for general insecticide.
Talstar PL granules are labeled mainly for crawling insects.

The easiest way to determine the correct setting for you needs is outlined below:
If you need to use 3lbs of product per 1,00 sq ft you would add 3 lb of product to spreader, start with a medium setting, then apply product to a 20 x 50 ft area (1,000 sq ft). If you have product left, your setting is too low. If you run out of product, your setting is too high.

We would recommend keeping any reptiles out of the area while you are doing treatments. Once Talstar PL granules have been watered in and the area dries completely, it is safe for them to return back to the area.
