    How much Talstar PL would I need to apply to a regular size baseball field?
    Do you know how many bags I would need to apply to a regular size baseball field? Just the outfield area
    A
    Without know the square footage of the area you are trying to treat we are unable to tell you how many bags you will need.  We can tell you that each bag of Talstar PL covers 5000-10000 sqft depending on the application rate for the pest you are treating for.

    I would recommend spraying for any flying insects like mosquitos. Talstar P (Talstar One) is a good spray to use for general insecticide.

    Talstar PL granules are labeled mainly for crawling insects.

    How do I get rid of roaches in my lawn.

    Outdoor roach control can be tough because the moist conditions in your yard will always attract more roaches from surrounding areas. You can apply a granular insecticide to help limit the amount of roaches in yard.  Talstar PL will work well for this use and are safe for you to apply to your lawn.

    I have a lesco commercial spreader. What is the setting recommended setting per acre?
    I live on an acre and a quarter in northwest Florida and want to be able to approximate as accurately as possible how many 25lb bags I need. Thank you

    A 25 lb bag of Talstar PL granules will treat 5,000-10,000 square feet. Depending on the speed you going will determine exactly how many bags you will need. 5-6 bags of the Talstar PL would treat an acre at the lower rate. We would recommend contacting the manufacturer of the spreader to get the settings that should be used. The weight of the Talstar PL granule is 0.2%.

    Yes, Talstar PL granules are safe to use around deer. We would recommend making sure they are not in the treated area until the product has been watered in and dries.

    What setting to use for a Scotts Speedy Green 3000 to apply Talstar PL?
    A

    The easiest way to determine the correct setting for you needs is outlined below:

    If you need to use 3lbs of product per 1,00 sq ft you would  add 3 lb of product to spreader, start with a medium setting, then apply product to a 20 x 50 ft area (1,000 sq ft).  If you have product left, your setting is too low.  If you run out of product, your setting is too high.

    Are Talstar PL granules toxic to reptiles?
    We have a healthy population of box turtles, lizards, and frogs that inhabit our yard.
    A

    We would recommend keeping any reptiles out of the area while you are doing treatments. Once Talstar PL granules have been watered in and the area dries completely, it is safe for them to return back to the area.

    How long after treating the garden with Talstar PL Granules can you plant your vegetable plants?
    My raised bed gardens have had ants and I treated them with Talstar granules. How long do I need to wait before planting the garden?

    When using Talstar PL Granules, they would have at least a three month residual in the soil. Some vegetables require a longer re-planting waiting period. We suggest you contact the product manufacturer to see what your specific application would require as far as the waiting period. You can reach FMC at 800-321-1362.
