we purchase this product in order to deal with some spider mites that had shown up at our home. We have dealt with mite infestations at other properties before but never knew of this product. the first dose that was put down seemed to have worked immediately at eradicating the spider mites that we had seen around our home and no second treatment has been applied in over a month yet. we have tried many natural products in the past but nothing worked to eliminate the problem like what this did.

Clover mites

Does any one know if this works on clover mites. If so what's the mixing ratio per gallon.

Thank you for your review/ question. Talstar P is labeled for Clover Mites at a rate of one ounce mixed in a gallon of water and spread over a 1,000 square feet.

Telstar Pro and millipedes

Tottally ineffective on millipedes in No NV! Have been applying at 2oz/gallon an no controland with the graniles! My "pest" guy who also uses this said that it is a waste of $ and time. Heat and drying conditions is the only control! THis is the 3rd year...I give up!!!

Flea infestation

I had flea infestation on my backyard, sideyard, concrete patio, every where. 20-30 fleas would jump on me just walking by. I used about 6 galons of Home defense with no effect on the fleas. Later I used this product and viola. Two days later and fleas are gone or done. Best product I have used.

I used this for my shed that the Carpenter ants got to. The Carpenter ants are now history (I sprayed inside the shed and outside all around the building and ground). I am now spraying the outside of the my house and about 2 feet up by say 2 feet out from the foundation just in case, it did not harm the flowers or bushes, great stuff and a great value and it is shipped on time. I was surprised 4 days and I was laying down Talstar P.

Where we live in Central Florida we have a very serious midge problem. The professional exterminator, Clarke, has sprayed with some success, but still the midges are not under control. I went online to search for a chemical that would not only kill the midges, but have a long lasting residual effect. Unfortunately, Talstar didn't have any long range effect - maybe 2 or 3 days at the most. Not worth the $32 per pint price for the control of midges.

I used both the mound drenching (with a 2 gal. tank sprayer) followed up with a hose sprayer treatment of the yard. I had a driveway infestation you would not believe and ants under the slab of a 12' x 22' shed. It has only been several weeks since treatment, but so far, so good! A lot cheaper than having it done. Last year, I had the shed "treated" for $125.00! I did this and the entire house and yard and still have more then 1/2 gal. of Talstar One left. I thought, for the price, it was worth a try. At this point, I am happy with the result. I live in central FL, ants love this place!

First let me say, DMOPC is the best place to buy anything on the Internet. Fast service and they do what they say they will do. I purchased Talstar P for mosquito control. I live on a canal in Florida and even though local drive by treatments are made, mosquitoes still get in the grasses. One treatment according to label directions and I can sit outside now without those annoying little mosquitoes. Great product and great service, what a combination.

Guaranteed to kill stink bugs... and most everything else! I didn't see the full effects on stink bugs until next day where hundreds lay dead on the ground. Some insects like grasshoppers and crickets were killed on day 1.

Under attack By Suger Ants

Bought a gal of the Talstar P to fight the sugar ant problem I was having. They were so bad this year that anything and everything I tryed prior to Talstar P did not help for long. I would find ant trails going down the side walk for two to three houses. My neighbor even found them in his truck. I would find them in my Garage,Workshop,And inside the House.They were everwere. I recieved my 1gal of Talstar P from Do My Own Pest Control and watched the Video on there sight and started spraying. I walked around the next day and could not find one Ant around or in my house. My neighbor still had the suger Ant Problem. trails going into his House,garage,you could find trails going everwere. He was using Brand X for his Ant problem and It kept them away for a few days and they were back again. I told him about Talstar P and even sprayed around his House to show how it worked. Its been 7 weeks and "NO" Ants. Thanks Talstar P & Do My Own PestControl for stocking a great Product.

Excellent Product

I originally bought this product because I had a problem with Sri Lankan Weevils on a Meyer Lemon Tree. I did a lot of research and I think it was FSU or whichever college is the authority on agriculture recommended trying Talstar which is how I found this page. I sprayed my Meyer Lemon with Talstar and they were all gone within a day. Then I started using on hornets nest and around the perimeter of my house. Since then I haven't seen a single live cockroach in my house (I live on the water in S. Florida so I had a lot of cockroaches prior to application of Talstar). I spray about once every 2 months, indoors and out and it's keeping out all the bugs except the ants which end up making it in and then dying. For those use ant baits. This product is also good on those pesky millipedes that like to find a way inside and die all over the house.

This site is awesome and this bug spray is awesome. Don't be put off by the high price (compared to regular , 'home depot', bug spray). 3/4 gal of Talstar makes 96 gallons of bug spray!!!! I sprayed this on the exterior of my house and interior. On the exterior I also sprayed my flower beds really well. It has been a cockroach grave yard out there ever since! I haven't seen a live roach inside or outside since I sprayed this stuff 2 weeks ago.

Talstar P Is The Best

In the last 8 years I've captured over 500 brown recluse spiders on glueboards in my home and no over the counter pesticides seemed to work, I was told that I could never really totally eliminate the brown recluse spider. I've used Talstar P for 3 months now and my brown recluse ARE totally eliminated, all other bugs are gone too. I love this stuff!
