Taurus SC Termiticide is easy to apply and effective. It is so difficult to find an honest professional to come out here and treat for these subterranean termites so we watched the DoMyOwn Video and then carefully applied accordingly. This project was as easy and as Professional as promoted. Next job will be to treat for weeds before the rain starts! Thank you, DoMyOwn for educating us and giving us the ability to have cost effective treatments!!!!

We had noticed carpenter ants while doing some remodeling. Had already sprayed with a brand name from a bog box store. Used this to dig around the foundation and spread per instructions for termites and ants. Only been a few weeks - but haven't seen any evidence of infestation. Fingers crossed.

Had bought this for my elderly parents in Florida because of termites issues to the house. Had a pest treatment person come to dig a 6inch trench around the house and to also use a sprayer to spray/apply around the foundation of the house. So far so good, I heard the trench treatment lasts for 10 yrs and the sprayer only for 3-4 months. Will continue to use Do My Own products, they work excellent.

Did better than any big name hardware store termite treatments, by a looonnnng shot! Even had professionals in to treat, and some of their stuff helped, but THIS Taurus SC and then the Termidor FOAM (SC for outside areas & for garage rafters, coupled with the FOAM for inside baseboard seams, window seams, doors, and behind air-blow vent covers) totally chased the termites off/killed 'em. We used the recommended measurements in a basic hand pump sprayer. No regrets!! All the money we wasted on hardware store treatments completely upsets us! Sure wish we had known about this stuff FIRST! Recommended to friends already. Thank you DoMyOwn!

I'm using a 2 gallon sprayer to apply this to the foundation of my Florida house. The container has a very easy-to-use self-measuring system which I then dilute with two gallons of water. I simply start going around my house using a stream setting on the sprayer tip soaking the concrete foundation to preemptively protect against termites coming up into the house structure. I noticed that fire ants living next to the steps at the front of the house were killed which is a good sign that this is an effective insecticide.

Easy to use

simple to mix and use. My only problem was pouring it into the 1/2 inch holes I drilled into my house concrete slab....alongside a crack in the slab which the termites used to get into the house... which I had first sealed up. This was only because the ground would absorb only a small amount of liquid at a time... so it was pour a little, wait a couple minutes, then pour a little more, wait, pour, wait pour.... and so on. This took a LOT of time to do in some spots. I did drill into the ground deeper than the slab was, which I'm sure helped some, but it is all dependent on the ability of the ground to absorb liquid... and a gallon per hole is a lot of liquid ! Taurus was fine and easy, the ground under the slab was not !

Good value with useless measuring mark

My project is about 300-350 linear footage, so I bought one 20 oz plus another 78 oz. The order and delivery process of both items were smooth. I used up the small bottle and about 50% of the large so far. It's not possible to comment on the effectiveness of the product at this momont. The 0.8 oz measuring mark on small 20 oz bottole is very user freiendly. You just need to tight both lids and tilt the bottle to fill that funnel shape cavity and put the bottle leveled on table top, it will give you a accurate 0.8 oz, then unscrew the side lid to pure out to bucket. You just need to do it once for 1 Gal sprayer or 4 times for 4G to treat 10 linear feet. However, the same 0.8 oz mark on bigger 78 oz bottle is basically useless. It's very hard or almost impossible to fill to that mark practically. So, I was eventually transferring about 20 oz product from big to the small bottle to enable me to use that measuring cup. I would suggest the manufacturer to add another measuring mark on bigger 78 oz bottle which indicate how much it will be if you fill the whole funnel cavity. I guess it could be 3.2 oz, which wil be perfect for a 4G finished liquid.

The product worked great. But the 2 bottles I ordered were placed in one box, with no other packaging. I received a box covered in pesticide. With the nature of these chemicals, I would assume better packaging is required. But, the product works great.

Okay, I used to use this product professionally for Ants. However, anything else that would encounter this product would die as well. It works best if you find Ants that are trailing. Spray a mist over them and then just let them walk through it for a couple of hours. Within a day or two, you will notice that you can

I just bought a house and my termite and evasive insect inspection did not bring up anything about carpenter ants. After we moved we found that they were everywhere (not in the house in the trees on the property). I sprayed around my house and affected trees, in just a few days we went from seeing them on the sidewalk. to see them carrying the dead ants elsewhere. After a week we have not seen a single one. My new neighbor saw me spraying and started a conversation, I let him use some and it fixed his issue as well. We are both going to be purchasing more to keep our property safe!

Very effective Carpenter Ant treatment

I am very pleased with my recent purchase of Taurus SC. The carpenter ants were having their way with my wooden deck and had become a serious problem that the replants and lesser store bought termination products were ineffective in treating. After only 2 days of application all the ants are gone!

I think this really works, i had an investigation of termites and i sprayed this an with in two days, i never saw another one. Although it rains a lot around here so they came back about a year later. Sprayed those an now all clear. Fast working, unsmellable by termites So they take poison back to colony ask kill the whole thing. Really works great.

Works great. Killed all subterranean larvas and termites with first spray. Replaced all damaged wood parts. Termites came in due to pure insulation from outside the house and wood soaked in moisture from rain which attracted termites. We sprayed all around the house as well. Time will tell.

I live in a log home and this year for the first time living here for 20 years I had large black ants around my foundation. I bought Taurus SC Termiticide and sprayed around my entire foundation one time and in about a week the ants were gone, what a great product!
