Thanks to Control Solutions for bringing a generic fipronil to the market! Instead of paying 10-100 times more than what a farmer would pay for an agricultural version of fipronil, Taurus costing is actually less. Competition also makes quality products more accessible. Fipronil works great on many insects, especially what I term as colony insects such as ants, termites, wasps, yellow jackets, etc. Applying the product according to the label where it can be brought back to the nest is the most effective way to rid your property of many of the worst pests. If it worked on spiders like it does ants and wasps, it would be the perfect insecticide. Be careful not to use around flowering plants as honey bees can pick up the fipronil in nectar and carry it to the hive.

My Silver Spring MD customer had Carpenter ants by the thousand. She has flagstone pavers up against her home. Every flagstone had big red and black carpenter ants under them. After just one application of Taurus I cannot find a single ant. The things I use have to work. John Ex Pest Control.

A professional pest control company has treated the exterior perimeter of my home, quarterly, for years, but their products (Mother Earth granules and NiBan granules) were not able to gain the upper hand on the odorous ant problem. Killer Stuff!

Literally! I'm the skeptic, and tried lots of stuff for ants (small ones and recently carpenter) and crickets. I also bought the inside spray can. I've applied this for the past 18 months (2x a year per instructions at 0.8oz per gallon) around the foundation and perimeter, and not a sign of any ants or crickets since. It may take a bit to work, as it's not a repellant, but we're really happy with the results. You use so little of this stuff to be effective, it's easily much cheaper than cans of Raid or whatever in the long run. Highly recommended!

i mixed the product just a hair stronger than recommended and proceeded to spray my fire ant mounds in the yard and pasture. under normal treatment(granules of all brands) they just move over and build new mounds undeterred by the poison. but with Taurus SC they died instead and did not just move over!! An inexpensive way to treat fire ants (and every other kind of ant). Rid your property of all ants with Taurus SC.

Ant problem handled

We live in the country. This year has been the worst year for us with ants in the house. (Kitchen, pantry, upstairs, downstairs, etc) I have tried couple different 'solution's' to control the ants but was fed up. I looked online for a different solution and found Taurus SC. After reading the reviews, learning from what others had done I decided to spray 1' up and 1' out from the house, all the way around. Within a two days, you could already see a difference. Within 7 days...no ants at all. This stuff works. I mixed it as directed .8oz per ga. Glad I found it, you'll be glad you bought it too. This is great stuff! With the built in measuring cup on the bottle it was a breeze to mix the right amount, with no clean up needed. Used this around the base and the outside walls of my home and immediately saw a differance in the flies hanging out. With in hours they were gone. And the crawling bugs had also met their match cause when they did show up they ended up on their backs dead. Price was right and I would recommend this to anyone who does their own pest control.

I live in "ant heaven", Southwest Florida, and have tried a number of products to eliminate crazy-ants trying to set-up a colony in a front porch pillar. None worked. Then I tried Taurus SC and within two days the ants were gone, and I mean no where to be seen. I followed up by spraying the perimeter of the house and so far so good. The Taurus did not kill on contact nor did I expect it to but after two days it appears to have killed the nest.
