Originally purchased for spot treatment of termites, but also applied to active routes/tree hosting a very large/active colony of carpenter ants. You could visibly notice a reduction in the quantity & speed of ant activity within a week. After several weeks it was ant free for the entire year.

Used in combination with Maxforce gel bait and Advance bait which I also observed ants eating. After spraying Taurus there was an instant reduction in ants over 24 hour period. Took no chances using a three pronged approach and ants seem to have been wiped out.

I've been battling hoards of little black ants. I've use CS demand and a boat load of other and killers including making my own with borax. They always diminished not still every morning ants in the house. Cleaning the kitchen 3 times a day with no food out. They would go for any residual water in the sink. Finally I found them coming out of the outlets so I knew they were nested in the walls. Saw tons of leaves behind the plate. Found out about this mixed it to the heavier dose applied on outside foundation and in two days no more ants. Sprayed my barn and ants gone. 2 months later still no ants. This is good stuff! It's a non repellent so they don't know they are walking into the dead man's land and bring it back and kill the nest. Also works for termites if you have that problem.

Got tired of paying the local company $500+ every year for a dog to walk thru my house. Started treating our home myself every 5 years for about $100. Have saved a lot. We rarely get any ants inside since I stated treating for termites.

I gave it 4 stars since this liquid works over time and last for years so impossible to review. It is not a quick action poison, although after 3 weeks ants no longer seen in my house.

Have a big yellow poplar aka tulip tree overhanging my house and back porch that WAS infested with every kind of ant including carpenters. It was actually raining ants on my house and porch! I couldn’t even grill out without ants falling into the grill. I tried terro bait plus, and ortho home defense. Neither did much of anything. Ants just walked over the bait. Decided to try this stuff and boy is it worth every penny! In less than 24 hrs there was a massive decline, three days later not an ant in sight! This stuff is thermonuclear on ants!

So far so good. It's not been down but for 3-4 wks but no sign of termites or tunnels. Easy to apply, have enough left to treat another property.

Good product! Easy to use. Very fast shipping. No bad smell. Seems to be effective. I will use it again if the termites ever do return. Would be great to use as a preventative measure.

I purchased this specifically for treating ants. After using it I have not seen one ant. I would recommend this product!

Product is as described. Arrived quickly. Won't know if it is what it says it is until it stops the termites. For all I know it's white chalky milk. Fingers crossed.

I purchased Taurus SC on two separate times from Do My Own Pest Control and before purchasing called several times to ask about treating for termites. - Very happy with service. Even though I choose the standard free shipping, The ordered product arrived fast and was professionally packaged. PS: The reason I wanted to treat for termites myself was that the house with termites had already been treated by a "professional" about 1 year ago and a second "professional" did not even want to see the live termites.

After checking the label we found the products identical. It was easy to apply, mix, and cleanup. The best estimate I received was $2200 and I did 3/4 of the perimeter for $150. As an added feature, no more ants. Just remember, the application footage must include the depth of the footer. Great stuff, great service. Remember the nitrile gloves and get the manual too!

We had pretty bad ants problem. After using it, the problem is completely gone. If it worked so well for ants, think how well it should work for termites.

I did the research and found that Termidor SC and Taurus SC have same amount of active ingredient that best kills termites. I searched the web and "Do my own pest control" had the best price that I could find for what I needed. Also they have very good site with a lot of other pest control products and info about how to properly use them thank you

I used to pay $10 for the HotShots at the HDepot. This is much more effective and way cheaper. The other stuff was applied and applied with ongoing frustration. Taurus took care of my ants inside and out. (Did not apply inside)

Great for Termites and especially for Ants . Same material as the more expensive Termidor. Downside ... can't use inside except behind wall voids.

I used this product about 3 weeks ago to kill termites. I've been checking the steaks I put in the ground to see if there is any activity, and there isn't any. This seems to have killed them and saved me $1,900.

Looks and seems to be ok. This is first time using it, as I normally buy termador. I use this as a maintenance perimeter spray drench around foundation of house. Had termites 6 years ago and drench soil around house every few years. I had terminx professional treatment done with termidor back then and like to keep up on added protection.

I dont want to kill anything, and I dont like using chemicals, but when you are forced to make a choice... I had been worried over a solution to my infestation (primary damage was to the fiberboard sheathing used on this house - they love it, which spared my framing members for the most part). I love the fact we have something like Fipronil available, and that it is available direct to the homeowner through companies like this one. The more I have educated myself regarding subterranean termites, their behavior, and treatment, the more relief I have found knowing this product is undetectable by termites and will eventually wipe them out. I understand it will take many weeks to kill off an entire colony, while in the meantime I have seen the effects on other insects: carpenter bees, roaches, ants. Grateful for this product and its availability to us, the homeowner. I plan to further my protection in the future, using a monitoring/bait system.

While very effective, this is not some homeowner grade product. This is professional grade and restricted to licensed pest control in some areas. It's VERY important, and I can't stress this enough, CRITICAL to use as directed on the label. I had carpenter ants. I knew the areas they were in. Since the product isn't detected by the insect, they get in the product and take it back to the nest and poison the others. HIGHLY effective. Be sure and read the label!! This can poison humans. Respirators and protective chemical resistant gear need to be worn in certain types of applications. Read the label. Did I mention to read the label?
