Talstar is is known to be super gentle on most plants (do not use on edible vegetation). Temprid FX has an added active ingredient, promoting a transfer kill. Both products can be used indoors and outdoors and both products are safe to use in houses with children and pets.

Temprid FX is labeled for fleas, however, it is not labeled for indoor flea treatments, and it cannot be sprayed on carpeted surfaces. We would recommend using our Indoor Flea and Tick Kit instead for indoor flea control, but if you are treating indoors and outdoors, the Outdoor/Indoor Flea and Tick Kit has everything you will need to do a complete treatment for fleas indoors and outdoors. Temprid FX Insecticide is newer than Temprid SC and has not received reviews as it is new to our site. Temprid FX Insecticide is the exact same product as the best selling Temprid SC however, there are many new changes. Same suspension concentrate as the SC, the "FX" simply stands for flexibility. Foliar application is now included on the label. With this foliar application, it is highly effective in controlling honeydew feeding ants, and is a great tool against stink bugs in the late summer and fall. Mosquitoes are now on this label as well. They have also added protection for polinators on the FX label.

Indoors, you can spray on baseboards areas and cracks and crevices. If you are dealing with German roaches, we would recommend to use something like our Roach Control Kit Rotation A. Can Temprid FX Insecticide be used in a room which has a split air conditioner ?
I live in the tropics and we use a split air conditioner in my room which is infested with bed bugs. Do I need to cover my air conditioning unit when i spray Temprid on the floors/beds? Can Temprid cause breathing issues once it is dried and then the AC unit is switched on ? Please let me know as I am planning to buy this product.

As long as you are not spraying directly into the vents of an air conditioner Temprid FX Insecticide could be used as directed on the product label. You would only direct treatments to cracks and crevices around the rooms, along baseboards, under furniture etc. We would recommend turning the unit off while doing the application until dry, once dry it would not become airborn to effect breathing. We have a great guide here that explains where to and how to treat for bed bugs with products.

Can Temprid FX be applied to an outside structure while actively raining?

While the label does not specifically state not to apply when raining, for best results, Temprid FX Insecticide should not be applied during rain. It could be washed away before having time to dry. It is recommended to treat when you are not expecting rainfall within 24 hrs.

Can this product be mixed at a lower % rate? Like at 4 mil per gallon? Will it still have the same affect?

Temprid FX Insecticide should be mixed at a minimum rate of 8ml per gallon of water per the manufacturer. Rates lower than that would be considered off label and may not be as effective.
