Termidor SC will kill carpenter bees but it can only be applied 1ft up and 1ft out from the foundation, around windows, doors, and under the eaves of the rooflines or patios coverings. This cannot be applied using a pressure washer to reach high, we would suggest the Chapin Slide Pump Sprayer that shoots 25-30 ft vertically.
Please see our Carpenter Bee Kits for the best products to use to treat for this pest.
No, we don't recommend spraying Termidor SC or any other insecticide while there is snow or while the ground is frozen.
Termidor SC is mixed at 0.8 fl oz per gallon of water. Please see the Termidor SC Label for complete application instructions.
Termidor SC can be used in a pump sprayer and sprayed around the perimeter of structures for general pests only. For termites you do need to apply in a trench for the best prevention.
Termidor SC cannot be used indoors for roach control however can be used as an exterior perimeer foundation treatment outside the home. Termidor SC is mixed at 0.8fl oz per gallon of water and should be applied using a handpump sprayer to treat 1ft up and 1ft out from the foundation, around windows, doors, etc.

Please read over our Roach Control Guide to learn how to successfully control roaches:
Yes, you can mow at any time after treatment of Termidor SC since it is not applied to the lawn.
As long as your fruit tree is not directly sprayed with the Termidor SC or so close to the treatment area that runoff or overspray comes in contact with the fruit, Termidor is safe to use and is not a systemic (not absorbed by the roots). General rule of thumb is that you should keep Termidor treatments at least 10 feet away from any edible vegetation and you should discard anything that may be contaminated with a direct spray.
Termidor SC can only be applied around the foundation of a structure. It is not labeled for areas away from the structure. Termites will stay below the soil and can have multiple colonies on the property. Termites are actually beneficial insects and in a setting out in your yard they are great to have around to keep everything in balance. If you feel you must kill them though, you can drench the soil with a general insecticide like Talstar P as directed.
Yes, you will need to use one gallon of mixed solution of Termidor SC (0.8 fl oz per gallon of water) per 10 square feet. Take the total square footage you need to treat, divide the square footage by 10 then multiply by 0.8 to get the total amount of Termidor SC you will need for the area. If treating 1728 sq ft, that would come to 172.8 10 sq ft sections and you would need 138.24 fl oz of Termidor SC.
Termidor SC will cover 60 lineal feet per 20 oz bottle for trenching and drilling for subterranean termite control against the foundation. This is not a wood treatment product. If applying twice per year for crawling insects around the structure (1 ft up and 1 ft out), you will apply 0.8 fl oz per gallon.
Termidor SC has a residual of 10 years when applied as a termite trench treatment. If active termite colonies are observed after the trench treatment has been done, spot treatments with a 1 gallon mixed solution of Termidor SC or Termidor Foam is recommended. Drill into the wall void or area where suspected termite colony is located and inject the liquid solution or foam into the wall void.
Please view our How to perform a Termite Trench Treatment Article and our How to Use Termidor Foam Video for more information.
Under no circumstance should Termidor SC be applied with a fogger of any kind. Termidor is a very restrictive product as to how and where it can be used and you must adhere to the product label use instructions completely.
We recommend waiting until the Termidor SC treated areas have dried before turning on the units. As long as non of the application seeped inside, you can use the rooms as usual after the application.

Due to the high water table and potential for regular flooding in the state of Louisiana, most of the soil termiticides such as Termidor SC are not for use in the soil in that state. This means only unique and safer formulations that wont get into the water are allowed, or bait stations in instances where liquids are not the preferred option. The two main termiticides that are not restricted to soil use in Louisana are Altriset and Phantom. Altriset is what most customers use due to its newer formulation and safety for the environment, along with its great termite control abilities. If you feel trenching is not going to be what you would like to do, we do carry Termite Bait Stations as a great alternative home protection option. The guide linked here is extremely helpful and goes through step by step instructions as well as "How to" videos for both treating with a liquid termiticide as well as installing bait stations.
Termidor SC is approved to be sold and used in the state of Florida.
Unfortunately, we don't carry the 2.5 gallon size of Termidor SC so don't have a way to check on this for you. We apologize for any inconvenience; have a wonderful day.
Termidor SC does not penetrate into the wood at all. It will only sit on the surface of the wood and is best applied in a trench around the home for termite protection. It will transfer back to the colony by those that go through the treated soil. We have a step by step guide that will walk you through how to do your own termite trenching treatment.
