Read Full Answer »It is highly unlikely the Termidor killed the rhododendrons. Now, if they were young, the injection or disruption of the soil may have caused distress on the plant.
Termidor SC is only labeled to be used outside as a termite prevention in a trench. Inside it would only be used to treat active infestations by drilling directly into the wood they are infesting and spraying into the gallery.

Termidor SC can be applied around the foundation of the house once every six months.
We recommend that you treat the exterior of the structure with Termidor SC (1 ft up and 1 ft out) once every six months. We also carry an Indoor Carpenter Ant Kit that offers a non-repellent spray for crevices, a protein bait granule and a bait gel for inside the home.
Termidor SC should only be mixed when you are ready to apply. It should be applied within 24 hours of mixing with water for the most effective control.
