Andersons Fertilizer with 0.25% Dimension Turf Herbicide 21 - 0 helps protect the lawn against broadleaf weeds and annual grasses while feeding the grass to promote stronger roots and turf. It contains 0.25% Dithiopyr as its active ingredient which provides effective pre-emergent control. This product only provides early post-emergent control of crabgrass and other unwanted weeds in established turfgrasses. According to the product label, the early post-emergent control will depend on when the product is applied.

It is recommended to keep children and pets out of the area during the application of Anderson's 21-0-10 Fertilizer with 0.25% Dimension Turf Herb and to keep off the area until the applicaiton has completely dried after you have waterd it in. Per the product label for Reseeding, Overseeding & Sprigging, it is recommended to wait 4 months after an application of The Anderson's 21-0-10 Fertilizer with 0.25% Dimension as it can inhibit the establishment of desirable turfgrasses. In general, this product should only be applied to established lawns and typically you cannot reseed and apply a pre emergent in the fall as they will inhibit the growth of the seed as well. Please review the product label for application rates, single or split application program schedules and more information on applying during Spring, Summer and Fall.

Hello, what will happen if a low rate of The Anderson's 21-0-10 was spread in a backyard with 8 live oaks?
Hello, folks. Hope y'all are doing well. I've used this product in the past and didn't know this wasn't supposed to be used around oaks! I applied the low rate (2.3) to an area that has about 8 ten inch diameter Live oaks. Did I just kill those trees? Would y'all know what would happen? Kinda panicking here. Thank you for your time.

Per the manufacturers label using The Andersons 21-0-10 Fertilizer with 0.25% Dimension Turf Herbicide could cause injury to your trees. We would recommend watering the trees and only time will tell if they have sustained any injury.

Is this safe for ryegrass lawns?
The listing states that this product is intended for ryegrass lawns. But then lists that both annual and perennial ryegrass are targeted pests. If this kills ryegrass, this is a very risky listing and I'd be quite upset if I bought it and it killed my ryegrass lawn.

The product label states that The Andersons 21-0-10 Fertilizer with 0.25% Dimension Turf Herbicide will control annual and perennial ryegrass at the "Program 3" rates and will suppress at the "Program 2" rates. The label also states, "This product should only be applied to lawns and ornamental turfs that are composed of the following turfgrass species that have been determined to be tolerant to applications of this product. When applied as directed under the conditions described, the following established turfgrasses are tolerant to this product:" and it lists it can be used on perennial ryegrass (not annual). "Program 1" rates can be used on perennial ryegrass as long as you are following the instructions on the product label.
