Does the tint of the Turf Mark Blue Tablets wear off/disappear or is it permanent?
Have been told I have powder post beetles in rear covered porch joists. Wood is exposed, so I would like to not turn the wood blue permenantly. Also, area to be treated is 350 square feet. Terminex wants to charge $350 + tax to treat. Is that a fair price, or should I try doing it myself (estimates of buying bora care, the turf mark tablets, and sprayer is about $175).

The Turf Mark Blue Tablets can turn the wood blue permanently. While we cannot say if we think Terminix is charging a fair price or not for liability reasons we can tell you that if you are willing to do the labor yourself you will save a lot of money.

and....how long will the color stay?

You can use the Turfmark Blue tablets with Sedghammer. Color mark lasts 1-2 days and breaks down in sunlight and moisture on foliage. Rate: 1 tablet per 1-2 gallon (3.8-7.6 ltr) of spray solution.

Can Turf Mark Blue tablets be used with Trimec 992?
Will the blue color be visible if Trimec 992 is applied with a sprayer as directed?

Blue color tint of Turf Mark Blue Tablets
two answers conflict on color tint wearing off. one says color is permanent and another says it wears off in 2 days. Which one is correct. I want to stain the wood after treating it so do not want to have the blue color change the stain results.
