Application Guidelines for Vanecto Cockroach Gel Bait

Application Rates:

Heavy infestations: apply approximately 30-40 spots or 15-20 beads of Vanecto Cockroach Gel Bait per 100 sq ft of treated area.
Light to moderate infestations: , apply approximately 10-30 spots or 5-15 beads of Vanecto Cockroach Gel Bait per 100 sq ft of treated area.
Apply Vanecto Cockroach Gel Bait as either spots or a small, thin bead.
• Each bait spot is approximately 1/4 inch in diameter and approximately
equal to 0.5 grams of product. Multiple, smaller spots may be used and
are generally more effective.
• Each bead is approximately 1/8 inch wide and approximately 2 inches
long, and approximately equal to 1-2 grams of product
Reapply as needed.

Infestation Levels & Bait Usage:

Glue Trap Monitors: When using a glue trap to monitor infestation levels, use the below table for the recommended amount of Vanecto Gel Bait.

15-30 Cockroaches = 0.25 syringe or bait tube (7g)
30-50 Cockroaches = 0.5 bait tube (15g)
50-100 Cockroaches = 1 bait tube (30g)
100-300 Cockroaches = 2-3 bait tubes (60-90g)

Visual Inspection Estimation: When doing a visual inspection to estimate infestation levels, use the below chart for the recommended amount of Vanecto Gel Bait.

1-10 Cockroaches = 0.25 syringe or bait tube (7g)
10-20 Cockroaches = 0.5 bait tube (15g)
20-50 Cockroaches = 1 bait tube (30g)
More than 50 Cockroaches = 2-3 bait tubes (60-90g)

Application rate is dependent on level of infestation.

Tips for Maximum Effectiveness

Do not apply Vanecto cockroach bait on surfaces treated with residual insecticide sprays.
Do not spray surfaces where Vanecto roach bait gel has been applied with residual insecticides.
Reapply bait if it's eaten or dried out. Regular inspections are key.
Keep bait away from food contact surfaces and high-heat areas (over 130°F).
Avoid applying porous surfaces like cardboard and concrete to prevent drying.
Combine with good sanitation—remove food crumbs, grease, and water sources.
