Would the most effective time to set the Varied Carpet Beetle Traps Kit (10 Pack) be in the Spring when the beetle have grown out of the larvae stage?
Would it help to set these traps now in the Winter?

The description says they last 6 weeks. How long will they last if I just store them in the original packaging for awhile before using them all?
