Is their documentation that these can never shatter, or did I receive the wrong bulbs?AVector Plasma Shatterproof Bulb - 36 Watt - Single has a plastic shield over the glass bulbs to prevent shattering.  The bulb itself has a sticker stating "Safety Coated" on it.
QIs the protective coating supposed to be taken off the Vector Plasma Shatterproof Bulb after installation?ANo, you should not remove the protective sleeve on the Vector Plasma Shatterproof Bulb.
