Why do cats have to be kept away from others when ZoGuard Plus is applied?
Been using frontline plus and Revolution and neither recommends isolating cats for any length of time after application.

Pets should be isolated after application so that the product is not spread from one pet to another, potentially harming another pet that is either another species or already being treated with this or another product and, therefore, at risk of being exposed to too much of the product. It is a precaution for both the pets being treated and other pets with which they may come into contact.

ZoGuard Plus will kill fleas within 4-12 hours of application when applied according to the product label. ZoGuard Plus will kill fleas within 4-12 hours of application when applied according to the product label. If there are eggs that have not yet hatched, then they would not be exposed to the active ingredients until hatching. Therefore, you may still see some flea activity on treated animals after the initial application. This is one of the main reasons that it is recommend to apply systemic flea treatments every 30 days as directed. Keep in mind that ZoGuard Plus will not prevent pets from potentially picking up new fleas from the environment, so we always recommend treating indoor and outdoor areas where pets spend time for the most effective flea control. Would I have to keep the cats from grooming each other when using ZoGuard Plus For Cats ?

Pets should be isolated after application of ZoGuard Plus For Cats so that the product is not spread from one pet to another. A few hours away from each other would be best
