Barricor SP is a broad spectrum insecticide that can be used both indoors and outside. Perfect for preventative perimeter pest control applications, Barricor SP controls a wide range of pests including ants, crickets, silverfish, roaches, spiders, and overwintering pests.
This easy-to-use product is designed with you in mind. Each 8oz bottle contains enough product for about 48 applications (depending on home size and application rate). Barricor SP can be used on complex surfaces like concrete, mulch, and stucco, thanks to the solid particle (SP) design. In commercial settings, it is safe to use in food handling establishments.
Even better, Barricor SP does not require the use of any PPE. No need to hunt down gloves and goggles before you apply.

How to Use Barricor SP:
Application Instructions
Barricor SP can be used in the following areas in and around the home:
Outdoors
-Apply as a preventative perimeter treatment
-Apply up and around the foundation of your home, on porches and patios, around doors and windows, in soffits, and around other exterior openings where pests may enter
-Apply to walls of the building (up to 2-3 feet)
-Apply to soil, turf, and non-flowering ground next to the structure (in a band up to 10 feet wide) and wherever pests are seen or can shelter
-When treating for ants, apply to shrubs or ornamental plant beds. Can be used as a drench for Fire and Harvester Ants and sprayed directly on Carpenter Ants.
Indoors
-Apply as a general surface treatment
-Can broadcast spray floors, carpet, or carpet coverings
-Apply in cracks and crevices where pests may hide, including where baseboards meet floors, beneath sinks and appliances, where plumbing enters a wall, where utilities enter a wall, and in the corners of rooms
-Apply to walls, floors, ceilings, in and around cabinets, between and behind appliances, around floor drains, and around door and window frames
-Can be used as a spot treatment
Always read the product label completely before use.
To use Barricor SP, mix the amount of product required with water in a hand pump or backpack sprayer and shake vigorously before use. See chart below for correct dilution mixes. Barricor SP can be reapplied every 21 days as needed or less frequently as necessary. Keep children and pets out of areas being treated until product has dried (1-2 hours).
Dilution Mixes
For low pest pressure situations, mix 0.125 ounces of Barricor SP per gallon of water
For maintenance treatments or to treat house flies, mix 0.25 ounces of Barricor SP per gallon of water
For your first treatment, a clean out, or to treat America or German cockroaches (indoors), Turkestan cockroaches, harvester ants, or webbing spiders, mix 0.75 ounces of Barricor SP per gallon of waterFor severe pest infestations and hard to kill pests like carpet beetles and American Cockroaches (outdoors) use 1.5 ounces of Barricor SP per gallon of water

Great, especially for not needing PPE

I purchased this product when I got an email from DMO about it not requiring PPE. I was a big fan of this since donning all of the PPE in the sweltering Texas summer was not fun. Additionally, I feel better about applying it indoors. It meets my expectations for performance, but does not seem as effective as Onslaught FastCap or Demand CS. I will likely use it as my summer insecticide and then rotate to the others mentioned previously to maintain effectiveness.

How does it compare to Talstar P?
Barricor SP contains Deltamethrin and is labeled for mosquito applications monthly. Talstar P contains bifenthrin and will offer a four week residual as well for mosquitoes. Both are great options. Mosquito Control Article

Barricor SP should not be tank mixed with Bifen IT.

Barricor SP is brand new to the market is brand new to the market so we have not had any feedback as of yet. It does have the same active ingredient as Suspend with different features so is comparable though. We can say that the product had to go through rigorous EPA testing to prove efficacy to get to the market.

How does this compare to Something like Talstar P which has been my go to for years. I usually just wear gloves and long sleeves when I use Talstar P.
Barricor SP is a brand new type of formulation that is safer when applying, no PPE does not mean it is weaker.
