Blindside Herbicide WDG is a selective post-emergent that controls over 70 broad-leaf weeds and sedges selectively working its way up through the roots as well as attacking through foliar contact. Blindside Herbicide WDG is even effective against hard to kill weeds like doveweed, buttonweed, and dollarweed. In one week you will see visible proof of control, much more quickly than other products. You can apply a second follow-up application of Blindside Herbicide WDG if necessary.

One of the key benefits of Blindside Herbicide WDG is its one-of-a-kind mode of action that will work in the soil to keep weeds from germinating the next year. This mode of action will drastically reduce weeds the following season in treated areas.

Use Blindside Herbicide WDG in the majority of warm season grasses and some cool season as well. Blindside Herbicide WDG, when used according to the label, can be used in warmer temps than other products.

I applied Blindside December 22nd and it's now Jan 9th! Close to 3 weeks now. I have Floratam variety of St. Augustine grass. The label says its ok to use on St. Augustine but doesn't specify which varieties. Several varieties of weeds are dying but the dollar weed of which I'm the most concerned doesn't want to die. The grass has stopped growing but looks like its going to come back. I'm happy that the majority of weeds are going away but disappointed that the dollar weed won't die. I wish I would've bought Celsius or another herbicide. I emailed FMC and asked them if it was approved for Floratam. I got a generic answer that was a copy and pasted from the label saying on new varieties of grass it should be tested before used on the entire lawn! Floratam has been around since 1977 and was kind of upset at the generic answer! I hope this review helps other Floridians with warm season grass

I do my own lawn maintenance and have fought broadleaf weeds every year in my St. Augustine. I have tried everything you can buy at your local do-it-yourself centers. Nothing has ever come close to what Blindside accomplished in one application. You have to use a backpack type sprayer, no hose end sprayers, and it will devastate all broadleaf weeds, period. I put it out in March so temps were moderate in NE Florida and had zero damage or yellowing of the St. Augustine. Be sure and use the surfacant with it. The only regret I had was not using a color additive to see where I had sprayed. I had to go back a week later to hit a few spots missed. Buy it, you will not regret it and follow directions closely.

My first review was 2 stars and I am now giving it 4. I have continued to use Blindside for more than a year now, and although it slows the growth, and yellows my Floratam Saint Augustine it does a good job of controlling a wide variety of weeds (including dollar weed) and the saint Augustine does make a comeback. March is the best time to use it because the temps are low 80s. I have used it with temps in the 90s and it still worked well, it just took a little longer for the grass to make a comeback. And the neighbors are very jealous because my yard is the best in the neighborhood. (My Opinion)

Herbicides are a lot different than other concentrated products and can be hard to understand at first. The application rate depends on the the type of turf you have and how quickly you apply the product. You will need to read the product label to determine the correct usage rate for your needs (you did not give us any information about the type of lawn, region or application program you will be using so we cannot give you exact rates). The amount of water used to apply Blindside Herbicide is not critical, but should be sufficient for uniform coverage of the target area. Calibrate by determining the volume of water required to treat 1,000 square feet. Use this calibration volume to determine the amount of water and Blindside needed to treat the target area (see the following calibration example). Note: Sprayer calibration (volume of spray needed to treat 1,000 square feet) will vary with each individual operator. Steps in Calibration: 1. Mark an area of 1,000 square feet (i.e. 20 by 50 feet or 25 by 40 feet). 2. Place the sprayer on a level surface and add water noting the final level of water in the spray tank. 3. Spray the marked area with a sufficient volume of water to provide uniform coverage. Refill the sprayer to the same level as before measuring the amount of water added. The measured water added to the sprayer is the volume needed to cover 1,000 square feet. The amount of Blindside per 1,000 sq ft: Cool Season grasses: 0.075 - 0.15 per 1,000 sq. ft. How quickly should I expect to see the weeds die after the application of Blindside Herbicide?
I applied 0.15 oz. per 2 gallons of water in my back pack sprayer to Bermuda grass a day and a half ago. The temperature is in the low 90's this week. So far some of the weeds look a little sick, but the crab grass doesn't seem to be affected? Will it require a second application? How long should I wait before doing it?

When using Blindside Herbicide WDG it could take up to 10-14 days for complete results to take place, although you will often see yellowing within a few days. It is recommended to apply the product at temperatures less than 80 degress. Discoloration could be imminent in high temperatures and high relative humidity per product label. Per the label two applications of Blindside Herbcide 14 to 20 days apart may increase control over a single application, depending on the weeds you are treating.
