Is Demon Max safe to use on infested trees for termite control?
We had our house tented and treated for two kinds of termites including subterranean. We just noticed that two of our large oaks are loosing their bark at the base of the tree and suspect termites. Would this product work for our needs and if so how much would we need?

Demon Max is labeled for termite control in trees. Per the product label, for treating termites active inside trees, utility poles and/or fence posts, drill to find the interior infested cavity and inject 0.1% emulsion (0.5 fl oz/1 tbsp per gallon of water) using treatment tool with a splashback guard. Termite carton nests in trees or building voids may be injected with 0.25%-0.50% emulsion (1.3 fl oz to 2.6 fl oz per gallon of water) using a pointed injection tool. Multiple injection points to varying depths may be necessary. It is desirable to physically remove carton nest material from building voids when such nests are found. Termites do not infest healthy trees therefore if you are seeing termite activity, this could be a sign the tree is sixk with disease or already dying. Usually the most common treatment would be to cut the tree down and burn the wood. We also like to recommend consulting with a local arborist for their recommendation.

Was it ok to treat my couch with Demon Max? I used an IGR in the mix as well.
I still have been seeing ticks even though I treat all the baseboards, carpets, corners, crevices, couches, door frames, etc. How effective is this treatment and when should I reapply? Can I over-apply? I need some real help with these dog ticks.

Demon Max is not to be applied on the surface of couch or other surface areas where there is contact with the skin. It is only to be applied in cracks and crevices. It can be applied every 3 months for indoor control and 30 day outdoor control. If applied sooner than the recommended time, it could result in over application which may change the results you are seeking. Make sure the property around your home is unattractive to ticks. Because ticks are sensitive to dry conditions and do not thrive in short vegetation, they are seldom a problem in well-maintained lawns. Keep your grass mowed and keep weeds cut. Clean up items that attract rodents which can carry ticks, such as spilled birdseed, and hiding places like old wood piles. If ticks are present in vegetation along the edge of the property, insecticides labeled for control of ticks can be applied to small areas of high weeds that cannot be mowed. Often, one or two applications per season will be adequate to control ticks in these areas. Free-roaming dogs and cats are much more likely to encounter ticks than those that are confined to the home or yard. If ticks are found on pets, contact your veterinarian for information about an appropriate tick treatment. Remove the occasional tick found indoors by vacuuming, seal the vacuum bag and place it in the trash. Owners of kennels or homes infested with the brown dog tick may wish to contact a professional pest control company for assistance.

I also purchased two of the bottles of Demon Max I was told it was the best by the company that does our pest
I've purchased two bottles Demon Max and three bottles of Termador sc. Then I purchased a gallon of the foaming content and a foamer pump sprayer a one gallon I ordered a two gallon but the Amazon it all came from your company and a bucket of the plugs to put in the holes I drilled . I wish the pump was the two gallon. Do you have a video of how to mix and use the foamer sprayer.

Is Demon Max labeled for cluster flies?
I have a large infestation of cluster flies. Will this product kill the flies, providing I give all the cracks a liberal spaying?

No, Demon Max is not labeled for cluster flies. We would recommend using Demand CS. This product can be used indoors and outdoors for fly control. The rate is 0.4 fl oz per gallon of water. The residual indoors is 90 days and 30 days outdoors. Keep in mind that we can only ship within the US.

No, D emon Max is not labeled for use on fruit trees or anything edible and will not treat disease. We would recommend contacting your local cooperative extension office to determine what is causing the leaves to curl on your lime tree so that we can recommend an appropriate product for you.

Will Demon Max treat buffalo gnats (bull gnats)?

Demon Max is labeled for flies and should be applied 25 ft away from any bodies of water. It may only provide temporary relief for where the insect lands. For the Buffalo Gnat nest, you want something that will provide an instant knock down like CB- 80 aerosol.

If I spray Demon Max on my deck and around the perimeter of the house will it stain?

Due to Demon Max being an oil based product it has the potential to stain almost any surface depending on how pourous it is and how heavy it is applied. If you wish to use Demon Max we would highly suggest doing a small spot test first to make sure it wont stain or leave an undesirable residue on any surface you plan to treat. If you would like a water based product that would cover a wide range of insects and that wouldnt stain, you could go with something like Suspend SC.

Below are the new label instructions for your convenience. Please be sure to read the entire product label for full instructions. All outdoor applications must be limited to spot or crack-andcrevice treatments only, except for the following permitted uses:
1. Treatment to soil or vegetation around structures;
2. Applications to lawns, turf, and other vegetation;
3. Applications to building foundations, up to a maximum height of 3 feet above grade;
4. Applications to underside of eaves, soffits, doors, or windows permanently protected from rainfall by a covering, overhang, awning, or other structure;
5. Applications around potential pest entry points into buildings, when limited to a surface band not to exceed one inch in width;
6. Applications made through the use of a coarse, lowpressure spray to only those portions of surfaces that are directly above bare soil, lawn, turf, mulch or other vegetation, as listed on this label, and not over an impervious surface, drainage or other condition that could result in

Would Demon be effective/usable in cleaning vinyl siding periodically? On Lake Erie, we get bugs.

A

Demon Max is an insecticide and does not clean surfaces. It would be used for residual control of insects that contact treated areas and could be used. You would not mix with detergent nor do we recommend mixing anything with detergents as they are not designed to be used as surfactants.
