How many packages of the Demon WP do i use per gallon?

A

Depending on how heavy your insect population is that you are trying to eliminate you would use between 1 and 2 water soluble packets of Demon WP per gallon of water and spray on a monthly basis.

According to the Demon WP product label: For mosquito control, apply as a general structural perimeter spray to landscape plantings, turf, and building foundations to control mosquitoes. Yards or other frequented areas enclosed by landscaping can benefit from the creation of a mosquito barrier to reduce invading mosquitoes by the treatment of perimeter vegetation.For best results, apply Demon WP at recommended rates in 2-5 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. Higher volumes applied result in better coverage and, as a rule, will improve control. Demon WP can reapplied every 4 weeks outdoors.

My wife sprayed the diluted mix on our bed thinking it was ok to do so? Is it still safe to sleep on?
Is it still safe to sleep on or buy a new bed. It was 2 packs plus a galon of water.

We would highly reccommend contacting the manufacturer of the Demon WP to see what they recommend you do. There are no pests or directions on the Demon label what would allow it to be used at any rate on a bed or bedframe. We are not sure if using a commercial steam/furniture cleaner would be enough…

There are no pests or directions on the Demon label what would allow it to be used at any rate on a bed or bedframe. How often do I need to rotate with Demon WP another insecticide?
I read that it is necessary to alternate insecticides to prevent resistance, but I was wondering how often that needed to be. Can I use Demon every other time I spray or less than that?

While the Demon WP is a great insecticide and covers a wide range of insects, it would not be our best recommendation for control of grubs and other insects the moles would feed on. Merit Granules are most effective when applied prior to, or just after, egg lay. In most cases, adult emergence occurs in early summer, often after significant rainfall or irrigation, followed by mating and egg laying. This usually continues for four to six weeks. Under normal circumstances, Merit will provide residual white grub control for four months or longer in turf. Dylox 6.2 Granules is only active and kills for 48 hours. Dylox should be watered in for at least 1 to 1.5 hours for best results to ensure the product makes it through the thatch layer to where the grubs are feeding. Mature grubs usually require at least 2 applications, 3 to 4 days apart.

Can I use Demon WP Insecticide unmixed in the wall for roaches?
It's pretty obvious roaches were using this as an ingress point into the house. Can I put a packet of this in the wall- by just dumping in the powered, not mixing it, before I seal it up?

I don't have any potatoes but have identified the bug that's invading our woods. I have no vegetables back in the woods but would like to kill the bugs.

Though Demon WP Insecticide is not labeled for Jerusalem crickets (aka potato bugs) specifically, it is labeled for crickets in general, so it should take care of them.

We do recommend cleaning up the borax first so the Demon WP can contact the surface you are trying to apply it to. Borax and Demon applied in the same area would not pose a threat however.
