    We bought D-Fense Dust and want to know when to appy it to yellow jacket nest in the ground.
    A

    D-Fense dust can be applied to any active yellow jacket nest. We do recommend that you wait until late in the evening to do the application as the yellow jackets will be less active and less likely to sting.

    Can I mix Cimexa dust and D-Fense dust together in the same duster bottle and use as one?
    A

    Yes you can mix these two products together and apply them at the same time. Make sure to follow the stricter of the two labels if one only allows applications in certain areas.

    Does D-Fense Deltamethrin Dust stay active in water? Is it waterproof for long term residual effect?
    A

    D-Fense Deltamethrin Dust should not be mixed with or applied directly to water in any way.  It is waterproof if exposed to water after application. When used as directed on the product label as a dust it can last up to 8 months in undisturbed areas.

    Is D-Fense Dust water-proof like Delta Dust?
    A

    Yes, both Delta Dust and D-Fense Dust are water-resistant. If a treated area were covered or washed in water, the you would need to reapply once the area is dry.

    Why can the generic brand of Delta Dust, D-Fense Deltamethrin Dust be shipped to New York but the name brand Delta Dust cannot ship to New York? They BOTH contain the active ingredient of deltamethrin 0.05%.
