Does this lamp kill flies?

Dynatrap Ultralight Insect Trap is labeled to trap flying insects so the flies will be attracted to it. The UV fluorescent blub provides warmth and attracts the pests. The smokeless vacuum fan sucks the insides inside the cage where the insects eventually suffocate and die within 24 hours.

The description says the lamp cannot be replaced, but you sell replacement lamps. So, which is it? Can the lamp be replaced or not?

No, the lamp for the Dynatrap Ultralight Insect Trap (DT150) cannot be replaced. The replacement bulb that is featured on our website is for the other models that Dynatrap makes, such as DT250IN, DT300IN, DT1000-12V, DT1050, DT1100, DT1200 and even DT1250.

It is recommended to only use the Dynatrap Ultralight Insect Trap (DT150) in a covered, protected area; for example, a garage, screened-in porch or four-seasons room so that water will not get into it as it could damage the unit.
