This dry, fresh scented powder works on all types of floors, floor coverings, and upholstered furniture to kill fleas, ticks, lice, ants, silverfish, and roaches. At the same time, it overcomes household odors, leaving a clean, fresh ocean breeze fragrance. This powder is perfect for periodic treatments of any upholstery, carpet and adjacent flooring exposed to your pet.
Shake well before using as some settling may occur during shipment. Sprinkle powder evenly and lightly over carpet and adjacent floors by shaking container from side to side. Wait 30 minutes then vacuum. If ticks are present, leave powder on surface for two hours before vacuuming. Treat only surfaces that can be vacuumed. Do not use on wet spots. If product adheres to a wet spot, rub with a stiff brush, allow to dry, then vacuum.

I did not realize this powder was scented. It gives me a headache so I will not be using it. I will donate to someone who can handle the chemical smell.
