Hi-Yield Atrazine Weed Killer is not labeled for torpedo grass. Torpedo grass is hard to treat. We are not aware of a product that will treat Torpedo and not also harm your lawn. You may want to consider spot treating with RoundUp.

Hi-Yield Atrazine Weed Killer is safe for pets as long as they are not in the area during application. They are safe to re-enter after the product has had time to dry. We usually recommend at least 2 hours of drying time.

You will want to give at least several hours of dry time for the Hi Yield Atrazine to adequately absorb into the plants before you drive on it or apply another product.

What herbicide is best for this type grass that will not hurt the Bermuda? I would prefer Atrazine but not sure if it will hurt the Bermuda.

Hi-Yield Atrazine Weed Killer is not labeled for use on Bermuda grass, so we would not recommend this application. We do offer other products such as Speedzone that would work for broadleaf control on Bermuda turf.
