Read Full Answer »The Maxforce Carpenter Ant Bait contains a slightly different bait matrix that is designed to be especiaily attractive to Carpenter Ants. Maxforce FC Ant Bait Gel is not labeled for Carpenter Ant control, so we cannot be certain that your carpenter ants would be attracted to it.
They each contain different active ingredients and bait matrix. Maxforce FC Ant Bait Gel contains Fipronil while Maxforce Quantum contains Imidacloprid. Maxforce Quantum can also be mixed with water and applied as a liquid bait.
The Maxforce FC Ant Bait will remain effective for up to 2 weeks. Bait that is not consumed after 2 weeks should be cleaned up and reapplied.

Read Full Answer »In most cases you are not actually filling up a station with the gel. You will put a few drops in each station and replenish the stations as needed. How often you need to replenish the bait will depend on how large the ant population is in the treated area.
Advion Ant Bait gel would be a better choice as it is specifically labeled for crazy ants.
