The California/New York Wasp and Hornet Control Kit contains the insecticides you need to get rid of wasp and hornet nests. This kit can be shipped anywhere in the US for extra convenience. This kit includes the liquid concentrate FenvaStar EcoCap, an insecticide that continues working long after it is applied to nests and surrounding areas. FenvaStar EcoCap is made using renewable vegetable oil instead of petroleum resulting in almost no odor and no VOCs. PT Wasp Freeze II Wasp and Hornet Spray is a ready-to-use aerosol with a fast killing power to stop flying, stinging insects in their tracks. PT Wasp Freeze II Wasp and Hornet Spray also has a unique foaming action to allow for more thorough kill of nests.
It is important to properly Identify the insect you are treating and to do a thorough Inspection of the property so that you can treat all possible locations where wasps may nest.
You will need a pressurized sprayer such as a hand pump sprayer to apply the FenvaStar.
***Care should be taken when inspecting for and treating a wasp nest. You should wear long sleeves, long pants, closed-toe shoes and a hat. We recommend purchasing a bee suit if inspection in confined areas is necessary. You can help reduce the chance of being stung by conducting an inspection of the suspected area at night when the wasps are less active. If you are allergic to wasp stings, we strongly recommend you leave the inspection and the treatment to a professional.***

The professional products in our California/New York Wasp Control Kit provide both a quick knockdown of wasps and hornets and residual activity to prevent new infestations. You should always work to Identify the pest you are treating and conduct a thorough Inspection of the property before using insecticides so that you can have the most successful Wasp Treatment possible.
As with all pests, practice good sanitation around the yard to reduce nesting sites and to Prevent wasp, hornet, and yellow jacket infestations. Taking some time to trim trees and shrubs, remove or reduce piles of yard waste, empty collected water sites, and clean outdoor trash cans will minimize the possibility of wasps taking over your property.
It is also important to treat nests quickly to keep the populations of these dangerous pests low.
**Always be cautious when treating for wasps and other stinging insects. Wear protective clothing including long pants, long sleeves, socks, closed-toed shoes, and a hat, or consider a Professional Bee Suit for the best protection. This is also important if the nest is in a confined area and/or in a position from which it may be difficult to move quickly. If you have severe reactions to stings, we recommend hiring a professional to treat for you.**
How to Apply the Wasp Control Kit
We recommend treating for wasps and hornets in the late evening when wasps are less active and most likely to be in the nest. This reduces both the risk of stings and the need for retreatment.
Treating a nest directly will always have the best results. When treating wasps or hornets, you will only achieve complete control if you can locate and treat the nest.
STEP 1 - SPRAY - FenvaStar EcoCap
*FenvaStar EcoCap is liquid concentrate that must be diluted in water and applied with a pressurized sprayer such as a Chapin 1 gallon hand pump sprayer.
*The micro-encapsulated formulation of FenvaStar makes this an ideal insecticide for areas that receive a lot of direct sunlight.
*If you are not already wearing gloves, we recommend wearing gloves such as Nitrile Chemical Resistant Gloves when handling, mixing, and applying insecticides.
*To mix FenvaStar, first shake the concentrate well. Add 1/3 -1/2 of the desired volume of water to your spray tank, add the desired amount of FenvaStar EcoCap, then shake or agitate the tank. Add the remaining volume of water, then agitate again before spraying.
*To measure the FenvaStar EcoCap, tilt the bottle toward the small reservoir, and fill to the desired volume line. Unscrew only the cap on the angled side of the small reservoir to dispense the concentrate.
*Use 2 oz. of FenvaStar EcoCap concentrate per gallon of water to treat wasps, hornets, and yellow jackets.
*If the nest poses an immediate threat, first treat a 2-3 foot area surrounding the nest with a fan or cone spray.
*Adjust spray nozzle to a fine pin stream, then spray directly into the center of the nest.
*Once the application has dried, remove and destroy the nest, if possible.
*If the nest cannot be removed, repeat treatment in 14 days to kill any newly emerged insects.
*Always keep other people and pets out of the treatment area while treating and until treatment is dry.
*If needed, use any remaining amount of FenvaStar solution to treat the surrounding area or as a perimeter or ornamental treatment for general pest control.
*Do not apply FenvaStar more than once every 14 days.
*Do not store finished solution for more than 24 hours. Store unused concentrate in a cool, dry area out of reach of children and pets and out of direct sunlight.
STEP 2 - CONTACT SPRAY - PT Wasp Freeze II Wasp and Hornet Spray
PT Wasp Freeze II is a ready-to-use insecticide made specifically for wasps, hornets, and similar stinging insects. PT Wasp Freeze II is a great tool to keep on hand for quick knockdown of flying insects in the area when you need to treat a nest directly, reaching up to 20 feet away. PT Wasp Freeze II also has residual activity after it dries. PT Wasp Freeze II also has a foaming agent to help expand inside and around nests for maximum coverage.
*Always shake can well before spraying and keep can upright.
*Do not aim directly at people or animals, and spray downwind when applying outdoors.
*Spray PT Wasp Freeze II directly at nests in short, 1-2 second bursts. Do NOT apply as a continuous spray.
*Spray will reach up to 20 feet.
*Spray directly into nests whenever possible.
*Allow spray to dry at least 24 hours before removing nests.
*PT Wasp Freeze II may be used on the outside of structures, with particular attention paid to eaves, doorways, under decks, or other areas where labeled pests are found.
*Use PT Wasp Freeze II indoors in areas such as attics, barns, mechanical rooms, and garages. Do NOT apply PT Wasp Freeze II in inhabitable areas indoors such as living rooms, bedrooms, or kitchens.

I have tons of Indian hawthorn bushes where wasps love to make nests. It has gotten out of control in recent months and being in Florida, they really don't die in the winter. I want to make up a tank of this and douse all my bushes with it if this will work.
Yes, you may use the Fenvastar EcoCap from the New York Wasp and Hornet Control Kit to help prevent wasps in the areas that you treat. FenvaStar EcoCap has a 30 day outdoor residual and 90 day indoor residual for most insect treatments. The PT Wasp Freeze II Aerosol is a contact kill product, so it will not leave a residual to continue to target the wasps or prevent them from going to the area where it has been sprayed. You will use the Wasp Freeze to directly spray the wasps for a quick knockdown.
