DIRECTIONS FOR USE
It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.
Do not apply this product in a way that will contact workers or other persons, either directly or through drift. Only protected handlers may be in the area during application. For any requirements specific to your State or Tribe, consult the agency responsible for pesticide regulation.
MIXING INSTRUCTIONS
Add the appropriate amount of NOTAVO to a partially filled spray tank under agitation. After adding NOTAVO, other tank mix components (adjuvants, fungicides, and insecticides), if required, may be added along with sufficient water to bring to the proper volume. Maintain agitation.
Tank mixtures are only permitted in States where all of the pesticide products used as tank-mix partners are registered. It is the pesticide user’s responsibility to ensure that all products used in the tank mix are registered for the intended use. Users must follow the most restrictive of all of the labeled use directions, precautionary language, and use limitations for the tank mix partners.
APPLICATION DIRECTIONS
Mix NOTAVO at a concentration of 2 fl. oz. per 100 gal. when it is used in high-volume sprays applied using the hand-held equipment. For low and ultralow-volume applications, apply 4 to 8 fl. oz. of this product per acre. Do not exceed an application rate of 8 fl. oz. of product per acre, irrespective of delivery method.
Direct spray applications to cover all plant surfaces, especially the undersides of leaves.
For extended residual control, apply 8 fl. oz. of product per acre.
Do not hand-harvest flowers until at least 7 days after application of this product.
CHEMIGATION STATEMENT
Do not apply this product through any type of irrigation system.
Frequency:
Apply NOTAVO only once for each crop cycle in a greenhouse, and saran and shade house culture. For outdoor ornamentals, apply NOTAVO no more than once per crop cycle occurring within a year.
Mites Controlled:
- Two-spotted spider mite
- European red mite
- Pacific spider mite
- Yellow spider mite
- McDaniel spider mite
Control is achieved through direct spray contact or by mite contact with NOTAVO residue on the treated foliage.
Timing:
NOTAVO is most effective in mite management when applied at the first sign of mite activity and egg laying. At that time, the susceptible female mites, eggs, and first stage mites largely or totally make up the population. If a high population of adult mites is present at the time of application, NOTAVO should be tank-mixed with an adult miticide. Test any tank-mix for physical compatibility and crop phytotoxicity before broad-scale application.
RESISTANCE MANAGEMENT
NOTAVO is an excellent tool for growers to use in their mite-resistance management programs. Proper application timing of NOTAVO may delay or reduce the number of subsequent applications of other miticides, extending their effective life as mite management products.
IPM/COMPATIBILITY WITH BENEFICIAL MITES, PREDATORY INSECTS
NOTAVO has proven to have limited to no effect on beneficial insects, particularly predatory mites.
NOTAVO can be effectively used in IPM programs employing beneficial insects.
