Read Full Answer »If you want to mix up two gallons of Talstar/Nyguard you will need to add 2 fl oz of Talstar and 6ml of Nyguard in 2 gallons of water and you will need to spray this over a 2,000 sq ft area. Please note that Talstar cannot be broadcast sprayed over carpets and furniture indoors.
Nyguard would actually be your most cost efficient product as it only needs to be applied once every 5 months outdoors. It has the longest residual outdoors to sunlight and rain over all other IGR's which only hold up about 14 days.
