Ortho Tree and Shrub Insect Control Granules are designed to kill and eliminate pests on ornamental plants including but not limited to emerald ash border, leaf beetles, aphids, leaf miners, scale, whiteflies and other listed insects with broad spectrum systemic insect control preventing reinfestation. This distinct formula may also be used for insect control on potted plants and provides season long protection. This easy-to-use product comes with an easy measure and pour applicator. This comes in a 3.5 pound bottle.

- Evenly distribute the product on the soil surface within one and a half feet of the base of the plant.
- Only apply to moist soil. Do not apply to dry, saturated or frozen soil or when plants are not actively growing and taking up water from soil.
- For plants grown in the ground: Apply evenly on the soil around the base of plant within 18 inches of the trunks
- Trees: one-third to two-third cup per inch of diameter of trunk. Apply at base of tree and water the granules to move the insecticide into the soil. For multi-stemmed trees, add the diameter for all stems together to determine the total diameter to be treated.
- For Shrubs: one-fourth to one-third cup per foot of shrub height
WHERE NOT TO USE
- Do not apply near fish pools, ponds, streams or lakes.
- Do not apply to soils which are frozen, waterlogged, or saturated which will reduce delivery of product into the root zone of the plants.
- Do not apply to bearing fruit trees or bearing nut trees.
