Pendulum 3.3 EC is labeled for use on St Augustine grass and should be safe as long as you follow the product label.. Please read pages 4-7 of the product label for application instructions.

The yellow in the product is not meant to be a marker, it is just the color of the active ingredient. We are not sure if it is sufficient for you to see on the grass it self. Sorry we could not be of more help!

Pendulum 3.3 EC - 2.5 Gallon is labeled for non-crop land. We would not recommend to use a pre emergent in edible crops areas. Pre emergents will stay in the soil too long. You can how ever use Round Up Quik pro to spot treat. Please let us know if you have any more questions.
As long as you follow all safety precautions stated on the product label and keep pets out of the area you plan to treat both during the application and until the surfaces have dried/settled, it is safe for pets to be around.
If you have powdery, dry, or light sandy soil that is favorable to wind errosion the soil surface should be settled by rainfall or irrigation prior to application. The efficacy of Pendulum 3.3 EC will be greatly improved if the application is follow by half an inch of rainfall or irrigation.
