Pro-Mix FPX is a growing medium that provides a thriving environment to plugs and germination to improve productivity levels in the future. It contains sphagnum peat moss which naturally absorbs water to balance the retention of moisture in the soil, plus perlite formulation for extra drainage and better air porosity to enhance root development. It also has lower calcitic limestone to let you control the pH level with higher water alkalinity, plus reduced fertilizer charge to moderate growth and prevent seedling stretch. It offers easier filling of trays and it dries faster compared to peat or vermiculite blend for more convenient water management. Great for plugs and germination, young plant propagation, and vegetable transplants. Available in 30 lb bag.
