- Apply during winter or spring when moss is actively growing.
- It is best to apply when the lawn is moist and tall grass has been mowed to expose low-growing moss.
- Apply at the preventive rate when disease activity is noted or suspected.

Typically we suggest giving 1 week after an application before putting down seed since the moss/algae needs to have time to die back and expose the soil below it. Grass seed needs to make direct contact with soil to take best so you should be safe after that time frame.
