Spectre 2 SC is labeled for roaches and should do a good job. This can be used indoors and outdoors. Indoors, you will spray around the cracks, crevices and baseboards in the problem areas. Once the product is dry, it is safe for any children and/or pets to return to the area. Outdoors, you will spray around the perimeter of your home. The good thing about this product is that it is a non-repellent. This means that the roaches will not detect it when they come in contact with it. They will just get it on themselves and die as well as carrying it back to the colony and spreading it throughout. Another good item to use is Gentrol IGR (insect growth regulator). This will stop the roaches from reproducing. It can be mixed in the same tank as Spectre.

Exterior application of Spectre 2 SC is limited to spot and crack/crevice treatments where pests enter the structure such as around doors, windows, eaves, attic vents, and holes in exterior walls where utilities enter.

What is the difference between Spectre 2 SC and Phantom?
Can either of these be mixed with Demand CS or Permethrin SFR ?

A

Spectre 2 SC has the same active ingredient as Phantom Termiticide/Insecticide but they have different applications. Phantom can be used for termites while Spectre cannot. Neither should be mixed with another insecticide such as Demand CS or Permethrin SFR.

The product label of Spectre 2 SC does not give instructions for using for termites so would not be recommended. We would recommend Phantom iTermiticide nstead which as the same active ingredient and is labeled for termites.

Keep people and pets out of the rooms/home while treating and until the application has completely dried. Repeat treatments should be done every 14 days with vacuuming frequently between treatments. Since different people can have varying reactions to the same chemical there is no way for us to be able to say for sure that any one person will not have a reaction to a specific insecticide. We can say that we have never had a report of any type of reaction to the Spectre 2 SC when used as directed on the product label. Be sure the person with asthma is out of the area while the product is being applied and they can come back when the area is completely dry. You may also want to contact the asthmatic persons physician prior to the application just to be sure there will be no issues.
