The professional exterminator I used previously, told me this is what he used (he used the 'brand' name, not the generic, but the active ingredient is exactly the same). I just used this and hopefully my house will continue to be ant free. I originally contacted an exterminator in December when ants were in my closet & living room! He sprayed and they were all gone the next day! That's why I'm going to continue to use this as a preventative.

if you have ants or termites, you won t for long.. this stuff is DEADLY to them. And it gets every last one... I poured a single cap full on top of a huge Fire ant mound.. the next day, all were dead, I dug 3 feet down.. not one survivor..and 3 other mounds in the yard were dead too.. GREAT STUFF

Ant Issues Resolved

We had ant issues in the house that were only temporarily resolved with the box store type pesticide treatments(tried sprays, granules and baits). A combination of the trench and soak for the larger ant colony areas in conjunction with spraying nearby areas eliminated the issues within 1 day and we have had no problems since.

I looked for this type of product for my own do it yourself application as I have an acre in Arizona and a lot of larger black ant colonies. SC has the same ingredients % whether Taurus or Termidor. DoMyOwn had better pricing than Amazon and the order process and shipping were fine. No ants have returned where I sprayed at the recommended .9oz / gal rate. Thanks,

Bought this because we found termite in the stump while cutting down the tree. No sign of termite activity has been found yet in the house. I wanted some protection just in case. The Taurus SC seems to have good reviews. The shipping was fast and the packing was good. The bottle is designed in a way to use easily. However, I don't know how well this product will work on eliminating the termite, so I can only give an average rating for right now.

Either Taurus SC or Termidor due to their 9.1% content of the chemical Fipronil is a real problem solver for colony insects. This chemical is truly excellent because of the transfer effect that eliminates the entire colony of pests in a short period of time. I thought that nothing could equal the effectiveness of Chlordane that has been banned for termite treatments since 1988 for termite protection until this chemical became available in the US. We have found that Fipronil does a better job without the health dangers of other the other chemicals available in the past. Always follow the directions exactly.

Have carpenter ants destroying my shed , sprayed with product from Home Depot and they were not affected. Used the taurus product and the next day all around my shed looked like an oil spill , but was actually dead carpenter ants! Great product , will never waste my money buying pest control products from the stores! Can't believe I can get your great products, thank you!

I had termites on the back of my house. After treating with a trench like the video shows, all signs of termites are gone. Even had some pallets on the ground with active termites about 10 feet away that I didn't treat just to see what would happen. A month later the pallets had no signs of termites.

Taurus SC is by far the best insect spray I've ever used. After repeatedly spraying for ants coming into our home, a friend recommended it. I used it one time and it's kept them away for two years. Now it's time to spray again. I also sprayed out back where we had ticks and the dogs have been tick free ever since.

I live in southern california and during the hot months we always get a few ants. This year was a little worse with multiple ants in two bathrooms and the kitchen. Killing 10 at a time, come back 5 minutes later to kill 10 more. An exterminator told me about Termidor is a good way to kill ants. I got Taurus as it is cheaper for the same product. Sprayed around the outside of the house as instructions indicated and the ants disappeared that day. Haven't seen any inside for 3 weeks.
