Quali-Pro TM 4.5 Fungicide is a specially formulated fungicide designed to provide broad spectrum control and protection against foliar, stem, and below-ground diseases. This liquid formula contains Thiophanate Methyl as its active ingredient, which guarantees systemic, preventive disease control on cool and warm season turfgrasses, and other labeled ornamentals. It is effective against major turf and ornamental diseases such as brown patch, summer patch, dollar spot, gray leaf spot, fusarium blight, Anthracnose, powdery mildew, stem, crown and root rots. It is recommended to apply product 2 to 3 weeks before the appearance of the disease, or when the first sign of it appears. It is safe to use on plants and mix with other fungicides when used as directed.

Apply product evenly over the area to be treated with a properly calibrated power sprayer. Apply after mowing or avoid mowing for 12 hours after application. Apply enough water to achieve thorough coverage, usually 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 gallons per 1000 sq ft. of turf area. When treating golf course greens, always treat aprons and approaches to golf greens.

Worked exactly as described

Great product. Used this for control of dollar spot and brown patch. Added Docket WS Fungicide to the tank for a contact product. Two weeks later I used Propiconazole 14.3 with Docket and I have had zero activity since I started this rotation.

It works as advertised. I use in in rotation with 2 other classes of herbicide as a recommended practice. Our yard is roughly 3 acres of tall fescue with zero brown patch or dollar spot. Before I started My OWN treatments we would lose 30 to 50% of our yard each year and would have to oversees. No more as we have cast that devil out the door.

TM 4.5 Fungiide

I was looking for a good fungicide that would work and everything I tried prior to TM 4.5 did not work. Two weeks ago, I sprayed my acre of St. Augustine, and I now have very light infection of the gray spot fungus. In about another week or so I'm planning on putting down another treatment. So far, the new growth of my lawn is showing no fungus. This is the best fungicide I have ever used. I have been trying to get rid of this fungus for 10 yrs. I finally have succeeded with this product.

My hose sprayer is calibrated by gallon, not square feet. What would be the proper dosage of Quali-Pro TM 4.5 Flowable per gallon for use against brown patch and other lawn fungus?
The mix rate for TM 4.5 Fungicide will vary depending on what disease you are treating. The rate for brown patch is 2-3.5 oz per 1,000 sq feet. We suggest that you calibrate your spreader using just water over a small area to determine how much water you need to use to treat the entire area before adding your fungicide. Quali-Pro TM 4.5 Flowable is safe for your dog if used as directed on the product label. Your pet should NOT be present during the application and while the surfaces are wet. Once completely dried, your dog may return to the treated areas.

I am spraying individual plants and need to know the correct measured amount of TM 4.5 Fungicide per one gallon of water to mix. Plant to be sprayed = Daylily Severity of Rust = BAD ... established.... I will me spraying every 3 weeks, alternating fungicide groups to prevent resistance build up....
Per label, TM 4.5 Fungicide mix rate is 10.75-20oz per 100 gallons. This breaks down to .1oz per gallon at lowest mix rate for Rust on Daylilies.

TM 4.5 Fungicide states do NOT water in the application (dry on the blade) and the Clearys 3336F Fungicide labels states it needs to be watered in following the application.
TM 4.5 Fungicide does contain a slightly higher percentage of Thiophanate-methyl therefore the mix rates are going to be lower but cover more treatment area in Commercial Use Sites such as Golf Courses, Turf-grass, Landscapes, Trees, Nurseries, and Greenhouses. Clearys 3336F Turf and Ornamental Systemic Fungicide is intended more for residential turfgrass, flowers, foliage plants, bedding plants, groundcovers, deciduous and evergreen trees and shrubs.
Both products have the same recommendations in regards to additional watering after the application. For Foliar diseases, no additional watering is needed to allow the product to dry on the leaf surfaces. For soil or root diseases, you will want to lightly water the application in help move the application down into the roots zone.
Refer to the product label for the specific Foliar or Turf disease you are targeting for information on rates, additional watering if needed and retreatment intervals.
