Tupersan Herbicide is for pre-emergent control of listed weeds in newly seeded or established plantings of blue-grass, fescue, redtop, smooth brome, perennial ryegrass and many cultivars of bentgrass. Tupersan can be applied at the time of seeding without causing injury to germinating seedlings of most cool-season grasses. This high degree of selectivity allows you to seed later in the spring when soil temperatures are warmer and more conducive to seed germination. Because Tupersan is a wettable powder that is mixed with water, it allows you to spot treat areas that may be difficult to treat with granular pre-emergents.
