We apologize you did not get the expected results. Please be sure you do not use more product than recommended on the product label as this is considered an "off label usage". Doubling the recommended usage rate is not likely to improve the efficacy though it could lessen it. Making an insecticide solution too strong can cause target pests to avoid treated areas. It does provide some fungus control on lawns, and it will repel most species of snakes including copperheads but it does not kill them. Keep in mind, when using ANY repellant on an animal it may or may not work depending on how bad that animal wants to get to the other side of that irritant. Just as a dog on an electric fence knows that if he really wants that dog/cat on the other side he can get to it and just tolerate the temporary shock, any other animal can make that same decision. If actually killing the snakes is a priority to you, you may want to try Snake Traps that will catch them and allow you to dispose of them as you please.
