    Q
Does it matter which breed of roach is causing trouble, or is the Advion Roach designed to destroy them all?
    A

It is always better to know exactly what you are dealing with, however the Advion Roach Gel is labeled for use on all roaches.  That being said, it is really good for German Roaches which are the most common indoor infesting roaches, but it may not be the best thing for other types like America…

    Q
How do you know when a bait is not working ?
I purchased/applied Advion Roach Bait Gel bait about a week ago, and I'm not seeing any roaches that are attracted to it. I have smokey Brown Nymphs and i tried hand feeding one and it just wanted nothing to do with it. one thing I think I've done wrong is contaminated my baits with Talstar pro. so I've placed the baits where i have not sprayed. Ive just ordered the Maxforce FC Magnum in hopes that they will like that. Nymphs are supposed to eat this/ be attracted to baits when younger right ? Ive also purchased a birth inhibitor which i plan on mixing with my Talstar but I'm afraid of contaminating my baits again. any help would be appreciated. i just cant seem to get rid of these nymphs and i know the big boy stage is on its way.
    A

Roaches will always ignore baits that have been contaminated with insecticides, perfumes or even cigarette smoke so it is important to keep the bait away from these contaminants. Roach bait gel should be placed in small dabs directly into cracks and crevices in cabinets, drawers, around sinks, count…

    Q
How often do you put Advion Roach Bait Gel out. For instance, every 30 days or every 90 days?
    A

You should place Advion Roach Bait Gel out as often as needed.  You should only apply roach gel out if you have a problem.  If you do not have a problem, you should not place roach gel out as it is a food that will attract roaches, you do not want to attract a problem if you don't have one…

    Q
Is the Advion Roach Bait Gel still working when it dries up?
I noticed that the gel dries up after 2-3 days, and gets hard. Is it still going to work?
    A

The gel will work even after it hardens though it does work best when it is soft. The gel will dry out quickly if you place it on a porous surface or if you place it in an area where it is exposed to air currents (heating or cooling vents). You can help avoid these situations by placing the Advion R…

    Q
After we use the Advion Roach Gel in our kitchen, how long before we can put our dishes back?
We put the roach gel in our cabinets, drawers, pretty much everywhere the video said to. When can we put down contact paper and put our dishes back? Will roaches get into our dishes if we do?
    A

You do not have to keep your dishes out of the cabinets at all. The roach gel is not airborne so will not contaminate your dishes. We do not recommend putting down the contact paper if it will make the roach gel inaccessible to the roaches. The contact paper can be put into place after the infestati…

I was told this product will make roaches breed more..is that true?
    A

That is completely untrue. Advion Roach Bait Gel contains indoxacarb which when picked up by the roach is then transferred back to the other roaches wherever they may be producing a domino killing effect.

What product is used for inside: to eliminate roaches and silverfish?

    Q
Will Advion roach bait gel harm my cats if they eat roaches that have eaten the bait?
There is no way that I can stop my cats from eating them. I only ask this because I caught one doing it! I am worried.
    A

The very minute amount of Advion Gel the roaches may eat is not enough to harm your cats. Be sure when putting the gel out that you do put the gel into cracks and crevices and other places that will not be accessible to your cats.

  • Asked by Charlene from United States

    Q
I have roaches running around inside my kitchen drawers where I store my silverware. Can I spray?
Ccan I spray in these drawers and let the product dry and then be safe putting my utensils back, I feel like this is where the roaches have a safe haven because I am still seeing many many of them and they are running around inside these drawers. We have already treated 3 times and still seeing many roaches, babies and large....Thanks
    A

We would not recommend spraying any insecticide in the drawers. You can use a high quality roach bait gel such as the Advion Roach Bait Gel to treat areas where spraying would not be appropriate (counter tops, cabinets, drawers, around dishwasher, a/c vent). The roaches will consume the bait and …

    Q
    Should I apply Advion ?
I got a mild infestation (2-4 roaches seen a day) that I treated with boric acid. After a week a stopped seeing roaches (german). I am thinking, as a preventive measure (to complement boric acid) to apply Advion on some strategic locations at my kitchen. Is that my assumption correct ? or the fact that I don't see any more of this animals means that they've gone for good ?
    A

Yes, I would recommend using the Advion Gel Bait in areas where roaches tend to congregate or hide. Use Advion Roach Bait Gel indoors as a crack and crevice treatment to control even the toughest of infestations. Advion cockroach gel should be applied to areas frequented by cockroaches such as be…

  • Asked by Lourene from Keaau Hawaii
    07/10/2014
    Q
Should roaches dead from Advion be left around kitchen or can I clean them up?
I thought the affected roaches would take the gel back to their nest and die, then the dead roaches would be ingested by other roaches and die. But, I see the roaches dying in my kitchen. What should I expect. Heavy infestation but not many have died yet after 2 days.
    A

Older or unhealthy roaches can be affected much faster than younger/healthier roaches. You can go ahead and clean uyp dead roaches that are out in the open. With a heavy infestation, you can expect several weeks before you see full resulst. Please take a few moments to read our roach control article…
