Use on orchids infected with scale

    By Dianne on 11/10/2015

Used this on my phalaenopsis orchid which is infected with scale. So far ( twelve days out), no damage. Time will tell as to whether the scale infestation is under good control. Spray droplets larger than I would have liked; I may try aerosol next time.

Q
Can I use Bayer Advanced Dual Action Rose and Flower Insect Killer on my phalaenopsis orchids to control scale?
A

Bayer Advanced Dual Action Rose and Flower Insect Killer is safe on most rose and flower varieties and works great on scale. However, we cannot be certain that no damage would occur because this variety is not listed on the product label. Therefore, we recommend that you speak with Bayer, the manufacturer, at 877-229-3724 to confirm tolerance.

Q
Can Bayer Advanced Rose And Flower Insect Killer Be Used On Apple Trees? Are the apples safe to eat if we got this product on them?

used this spray to kill Japanese Beetles.

A

Bayer Advanced Dual Action Rose and Flower Insect Killer RTU is not labeled to be used on any edible vegetation. If you sprayed this product on your apples/apple trees it would not be safe to consume the apples. The manufacturer states there should be no consumption from the apple tree for one whole growing season. We suggest using Bonide Fruit Tree Spray Concentrate to eliminate Japanese beetles on apple trees.
