    Q
After applying Crossfire on a mattress, should you cover it with a bed bug mattress encasement?
Would you then need to take off the encasement, retreat 14 days later, and put it back on or would it be better just to leave it without the encasement until you've applied it twice?
    A

You can encase a mattress after application of Crossfire Bed Bug Concentrate. You should not retreat a mattress with Crossfire or any other insecticide once it has been encased. The encasement must stay on for at least 12 months once it is placed on the mattress.

    Q
Can Crossfire Bed Bug Concentrate be used as a stand-alone treatment? Will bedbugs die after coming in contact with the residue?
I bought the Bed bug commercial kit but just recently found one bed bug. I followed the instructions but did not repeat after 14 days. So now can I just use Crossfire to spray furniture, baseboards etc.? Should I use Cimexa after Crossfire and if so will the Crossfire still be effective for 30 days even if it's covered with Cimexa?

Does Crossfire kill bed bug eggs?
Does CrossFit kill bed bug eggs? We currently have no living bedbugs, but I am concerned there may be eggs in different places. I called a few exterminators to get a quote on a heat treatment, and one of them said that pesticides generally do not kill the eggs. Just wanting to verify this is true.

Crossfire Bed Bug Concentrate is labeled to kill bed bugs and bed bug eggs that you make direct contact with.

    Q
do you need to sleep in the bedroom that’s being treated in order for it to work?
I was reading / studying as I am about to use crossfire & cimexa and came across a few comments that stated in order for a chemical treatment (crossfire) to work properly you should sleep in the room to attract the bed bugs so they don’t go looking for another host in another room. is this true?
    A

You can resume sleeping in the room where Crossfire has been applied, once it has completely dried.

    Q
Will one treatment of Crossfire Bed Bug Concentrate be enough to fix a very minor bedbug problem?
I just treated my house with 13oz. Bottle of CrossFire. My apartment is smaller than 1000 sq. Feet. I never had beg bugs the whole year of living here but recently found one bug and had just a few bites. It's the beginning of an infestation but nothing big. Will the one treatment be enough? I'm almost 37 weeks pregnant so don't want to worry about retreating with a newborn. Thanks for any advice.

We have no way to guarantee one treatment will elminate bedbugs because the the life cycle of the insect and how they hide their eggs. It is important to treat every 7-10 days until you do not have any new bites or new signs of live bedbugs for at least 30 days. Please read our How to Get Rid of Bed
