No, Cy-Kick CS and Premise Termiticide cannot be mixed together nor should they be applied in the same areas.
No, Cy-Kick CS is not a systemic insecticide. You can look at using a product like Dominion 2L as it is a systemic product and will be taken up into the plant system from root uptake. Please see the product label for specific insects and application instructions.
The shelf life of Cy-Kick CS is 3-5 years as long as it has been stored in a cool, dry place. Although the bottle you have has not been opened, I would recommend purchasing a more recently manufactured bottle. When treating for bed bugs, you can mix 1-2 oz of the product per 1 gal of water. However, if you are dealing with a current bed bug infestation, I recommend taking a look at our Bed Bug Kits. The kits include all of the products needed to eliminate an active bed bug infestation.
Yes, Cy-Kick CS is still one of the best for Scorpion control in your area. Eraser is a great product for vegetation mgmt in a rocky area.
Because Cy-Kick CS Aerosol includes a micro-encapsulated formulation, we recommend retreating with it on a monthly basis. It is normal to continue seeing pest activity, especially if you just recently began treating. The full label does permit application as needed but no more than once every three days.
Demand CS and Cy-Kick CS each have a residual of up to 90 days, however you can apply more often for active insect infestations. We also recommend using a roach bait gel and an Insect Growth Regulator (IGR) for the best control of this pest. Please see our article How to Get Rid of Roaches for more tips.
Cy-Kick CS is not labeled to treat rodents. Please see our rodent control page here.
You normally mix Cy-Kick CS at the rate of 1-2 ounces per gallon of water, and each gallon you mix up will cover roughly 1000 sq/ft, depending on how heavy you wet the surface area.
With most concentrated insecticides, including Cy kick CS, you want to be sure to use all of the mixed solution within 24 hours of diluting as the product will start to lose it's efficacy. Please be sure to review the product label for more information and complete application instructions before use.
Cy-Kick CS would not be recommended for cicada larvae. Unfortunately, there is not a good liquid insecticide option for cicada killer wasps due to their being solitary insects who create burrows in the ground.
Cicada Killer wasps thrive in disturbed environments, such as landscaped yards and places where bare soil is exposed. You can discourage the wasps from nesting in your yard by cutting your grass on the highest setting and by adding a thick layer of mulch to flower beds during the Cicada Killer Wasp season. These wasps do not like over saturated lawns either, so over watering during their season will help prevent them. Unfortunately, there is no fool proof way to prevent cicada killer wasps.
For preventative control, applying the Bifen Granules before the Cicada Killers start burrowing into the ground can help reduce the population some. If they have already started burrowing, it is commonly recommended to use Delta Dust in each individual burrow.
We also like to let our customers know that the Cicada Killer wasps are beneficial insects that provide free pest control for a couple months each year. Cicada killer wasps paralyze and provision their burrows with other insects to feed their young. The beneficial Cicada killer wasps, while large and intimidating to see, are mostly harmless and there have been very few reports of anyone getting stung by just being near them. In most cases where a sting was reported, the wasps were being held or molested in some way. Cicada Killer Wasp stings are also reported to be almost painless.
Nyguard IGR is mixed at 3 ml to 8 ml per gallon. Please see the label for complete application instructions.
Cy-Kick CS is labeled to be applied over ornamentals and will not cause harm when applied per the product label.
Onslaught FastCap would be a better option as it is designed for harder to kill insects like spiders and scorpions. Cy-Kick CS can still do a good job just may take a bit longer to kill. For additional information, please check out or article here.
Both Cy-Kick CS and Onslaught Fast Cap are microencapsulated insecticides that provide a long lasting residual and easier for insects to pick up the active ingredient as they cross the treated surface.
Onslaught Fast Cap contains different active ingredients including a PBO which gives Fast Cap an knockdown for killing insects quickly and making it ideal for active or heavy infestations.
Cy-Kick CS is not labeled to kill mold mites. Mold mites only develop where there is moisture or high humidity. The first step should be to eliminate humidity or moisture that is producing favorable conditions for molds and mites.
The term mold mites commonly includes the cheese mite, flour mite, and grain mite which can infest stored food and grain. It is important to be absolutely sure you are actually dealing with mites and the type of mite. Have the suspected mite identified by a reputable source, such as your local cooperative extension office or a reputable pest control operator.
Onslaught is labeled for "mites" in general but different pests will require different treatments.
Temprid FX can be used to treat for spiders, scorpions, crickets and many other insects both indoors and outdoors. This is a dual active ingredient insecticide that provide different 2 different modes of action to kill insects without risk of developing a resistance when applied over a period of time. Temprid FX is mixed at 8ml to 16ml per gallon of water and can be applied to the exterior perimeter foundation, around windows, doors, where utilites enter the home, under the eaves of the roof and also to bushes, trees, shrubs, and lawn areas.
View the full Temprid FX product label for more information.
Bait granules are not labeld for Spiders or Scoprions therefore will not have any affect on these pests. When treating Crickets with bait granules where you will also be applying insecticides such as lawns, in landscape beds, around ornamentals, etc, make sure you are not cross treating the same areas with both the liqud and the bait granules as this contaminates the bait and can affect the efficacy of the insecticide. Please review the product label for specific application sites for granule baits and adjust your treatment accordingly.
No, Cy-Kick CS would not be tank mixed with Bifen IT.
Bifen IT is a synthetic pyrethroid and Cy-Kick CS already contains a synthetic pyrethroid, so there would be nothing to gain by mixing these products together. Making a pesticide too strong can actually backfire. Areas that are treated with this overly concentrated spray will be repellent and insects will simply avoid the treated areas prolonging the infestation.
Cy-Kick CS is labeled for roaches and mosquitoes as well as many other insects for both indoor and outdoor applications. To eliminate an active roach infestation, you will need to use a roach bait gel and insect growth regulator along with the residual insecticide. We include all 3 recommended products in our Roach Control Kits. Proper cleaning and santitation practices along with repeat treatments are required every 14 days to eliminate roaches. View our Roach Treatment Guide for more information on a successful treatment.
For Mosquitoes, CyKick CS can be used for monthly foliar spray applications to bushes, trees, shrubs and shaded/cool areas of the yard and sides of the home. For additional treatment options, we would recommend adding an insect growth regulator like NyGuard IGR to the tank mix. View our Mosquito Treatment Guide for more information.

Cy-Kick CS and the Demand CS are both great products for spider control. However, neither list Brown Recluse specifically on their product label.
Transport Mikron is an insecticide you may use which is labeled specifically for Brown Recluse Spiders. Please view the full product label for more information.
