When applied according to the Dimension 2EW label, this herbicide provides pre-emergent control of annual grassy and broadleaf weeds, plus early post-emergent control of young crabgrass, including:
Crabgrass
Goosegrass
Foxtail
Spurge
Annual bluegrass (Poa annua)
And 40+ additional annual weeds
Dimension 2EW Herbicide can be used on:
Established residential lawns
Golf course fairways, roughs, and tee boxes
Commercial sod farms
Field-grown nursery ornamentals
Container-grown landscape ornamentals
Always confirm the specific turfgrass or ornamental species and the use and application areas listed on the label before applying.
Timing is everything with pre-emergents. Apply Dimension Herbicide:
In early spring, before soil temperatures consistently reach 55°F
Prior to crabgrass germination
As a split application in high-pressure areas for extended control
Dimension provides early post-emergent control of young crabgrass, offering added flexibility compared to other pre-emergent herbicides. For exact rates and seasonal guidance, refer to the Dimension pre-emergent label.
Always follow the Dimension 2EW label for complete mixing and application directions.
Mixing Dimension with Water
Fill a previously cleaned spray tank ¾ full of water.
Add the recommended amount of Dimension 2EW herbicide to the tank.
Continue the filling process while maintaining agitation.
Remove the hose immediately after filling it to prevent backflow into the water source.
Mixing Dimension with Liquid Fertilizer
Determine the compatibility of Dimension Herbicide with the desired liquid fertilizer by mixing small proportional quantities first. See the Physical Compatibility Test section on the product label.
Follow label instructions for fertilizer tank mixes.
Dimension Tank Mixtures
Dimension 2EW may be tank-mixed with compatible products, such as some herbicides like Gallery Herbicide and some liquid fertilizers, provided both product labels allow the application method and timing. Be sure that neither product prohibits tank mixing.
When tank mixing, always read and follow all label directions for each product being used. Use the most restrictive label directions when combining products. A compatibility test (jar test) using relative proportions of the tank mix ingredients should always be conducted before mixing ingredients in the spray tank. See the Physical Compatibility Test section of this pre-emergent label.
