It depends on what you are treating for and how bad the problem is, but you typically mix 1 to 10 ounces per gallon of water depending on severity of the problem, and each gallon of Essentria IC3 will treat 500 to 1000 sq ft. If we average this out, then a gallon of product can treat between 10,000 - 25,000 sq ft. For specific instructions, please read the Essentria IC3 product label.
It is not necessary to mix Mosquito Barrier and Essentria IC3. They have two different modes of action and will work against each other.

Essentria IC3 Insecticide Concentrate cannot be applied to fruit or vegetables directly, especially ones that will be harvested for human consumption. However, we do have a product made specifically for food bearing trees which is called Malathion 57%. It can be applied right to the food on the tree, For each plant type there is a cut off time before harvesting, which is usually 7 days. Here is a link to the product label.

Essentria IC3 can eliminate any type of ant crosses over treated areas. You should note that the product will not be carried back to the colony and transferred to other ants: only the ants that actually come in contact with treated areas will be eliminated. We do carry Taurus SC and Phantom which both work with a transfer effect and are labeled for most types of ants. If you would prefer to stick to all natural products you should consider using a combination of ant baits such as the Gourmet Ant Bait Gel and the Intice 10 Perimeter Bait. Baits will be picked up by the foraging ants and carried back to the colony. After the infestation is gone you can follow up with the Essentria IC3 as a barrier spray around the exterior of your home to stop new ants from moving in.
Essentria IC3 Insecticide Concentrate is all natural product that is safe when used as directed and should not induce asthma. That being said not all reactions for every person could be the same or known. We would recommend checking directly with your doctor if you are have any concerns.
Essentria IC3 Insecticide Concentrate and Suspend SC are both insecticides and there would be no valid reason to use them mixed together, one is just natural and the other synthetic. Applying multiple insecticides together does not make either work better and can actually have negative effects of making an area more repellent where insects will avoid the treated areas and neither can do the job of killing them then. Instead it would be best to use either one along with a roach bait and insect growth regulator as directed in our guide here for roach treatments.
