Sort Questions
Q
Will ExciteR 55 Aerosol work on hornets & wasps nesting in my siding?
A

ExciteR 55 Aerosol is a contact kill aerosol labeled to kill yellow jackets but it will not leave a residual behind. For yelllow jackets, wasps and hornets nesting in inaccessible areas like siding, it is recommended to apply Delta Dust with a bellow hand duster to the opening where you see them entering and exiting.

If you are not able to locate the openeing, we would suggest baiting using the Yellow Jacket Baiting Kit with Onslaught.

Q
Can roaches develop a resistance to ExciteR 55 Aerosol? What is the difference between a synergist insecticide and a synthetic pyrethroid insecticide?
A

ExciteR 55 Aerosol would be flushing aerosol to treat in cracks and crevices indoors and outdoors for insects on the product label. Synergists are commonly used for a quick knockdown, flushing or contact kill treatment as they do not leave a residual behind. They come in aerosols and liquid concentrates and can be used by themselves or tank mixed with a residual insecticide for effective in treating pests.

Synthetic Pyrethroid Insecticides leave a residual behind after the application has dried and continues to affect insects the cross or contact the treated areas. Synthetic pyrethroid insecticides generally leave a 21-30 day residual outdoors and 90 day residual indoors for general maintenance pest control treatments. If treating for active insects, retreatments can be applied according to the product label.

If treating for Roaches – ExciteR 55 Aerosol can be used as a flushing/contact kill application along cracks, crevices, along baseboards, behind cabinets, around windows, doors, etc to drive out insects for an immediate kill.

You will need to follow up with addtional products for an active roach infestation and repeat treatments at 14 days are required to eliminate an active roach colony. We would recommend one of our Roach Control Kits for the best products and effective treatment program. View our Roach Treatment Guide for step by step instructions.
