Directions for Use
APPLICATION DIRECTIONS:
Each Just One Bite II bait bar weighs one pound (16 oz) and is scored to be broken into 2 oz pieces.
RATS: While wearing gloves, apply two to eight 2-oz pieces of bar (or one entire BAR) at each placement location in infested areas. For burrow applications, insert one to two 2-oz pieces of bar at least six inches into each active burrow. Check treated burrows each morning and evening to make sure that baits have not been pushed out of burrows. For above ground treatment, space bait placements 15 to 30 feet apart. Maintain an uninterrupted supply of fresh bait for 10 days or until fresh signs of rat activity cease to appear.
MICE: While wearing gloves, break bar into 2 oz. pieces and apply one 2-oz bar piece per placement in infested areas at 8 to 12 foot intervals in infested areas. Maintain an uninterrupted supply of fresh bait for 15 days or until fresh signs of mouse activity cease to appear.
FOLLOW-UP: Replace contaminated or spoiled bait immediately. Wearing gloves, collect and dispose of all dead animals and leftover bait properly. To prevent reinfestation, eliminate sources of rodent food, water and harborage as much as possible. If reinfestation does occur, repeat treatment. Where a continuous source of infestation is present, establish permanent bait stations and replenish bait as needed.

I've used this product in previous years and it was effective, however for the recent activity, no changes occurred. It seemed like there was some changes in the product or something, but im moving on to looking for another product to resolve my issue.

Lots of dead mice!
By Geri on 11/08/2014
This product is the best I've ever used .. BAR NONE! If you're serious about ridding yourself of rodent problems, this is the product you want. No spillage that can harm pets or children, we just set out a bar and let the pest have an open buffet. We live in the middle of grain and hay fields and this product makes rodents disappear.

1 bite bye bye
By Ken on 09/13/2014
I live in a 5th wheel, I was overrun to the point of being kept awake at nite. placed the bait in areas where I found mouse droppings. In 1 day traffic diminished. In 4 days no signs of mice and my doxie settled down since he had nothing to hunt. GREAT STUFF, THIS IS THE WAY TO GO. revenge is best served with 1 bite bait bars.

We have been using this product for a couple of years with great success. We don't see dropping any more. Along with using Just One Bite we also don't leave water out for birds that mice and rats can get too. Ordering Just One online was our ticket to not seeing more dropping of mice or rats. THANKS

Farnam Just One Bite II Bars can be harmful to pets who eat the bait, we would recommend contacting your vet for further advice.
The Farnam Just One Bite II Bars are for use in and around agricultural buildings only. This product is not for use in homes or other human residences. Using tamper resistant bait stations with a rodenticide block is an effective treatment for rodent control, we have our Rodent Kits available that come with 6 statiosn and a 4lb pail of Fastrac. Bait Stations should be placed outside the exterior periemeter of the home as we do not recommend baiting for rodents indoors. Visit our How to Get Rid of Rodents Guide for more information.

I have mice in/under my chicken house. Can I use One Bite safely with the chickens nearby? As you know.. chickens are ravenous foragers and will readily eat a dead mouse. I don't want to poison my chickens OR worry about contamination of their eggs. Thks, Joe
No, the Farnam Just One Bite II Rodenticide Bars uses the active ingredient Bromadiolone which is only effective against rodents (mice/rats) and will not kill insects.
To control ants outdoors, we would recommend using a residual insecticide like Advion WDG on the foundation, around windows, doors, under eaves, in cracks and crevices in foundations, along siding and where utilities enter the home. Using Ant Bait can be used in addition to a residual spray in landscape beds or in ant bait stations that will help eliminate the colony.
Please review our Ant Treatment Guide for information on eliminating ants both outdoors and indoors.

For an easy and convenient baiting method for situations where there may be smaller rodent activity, T1 Pre-baited Rat Bait Stations could be used aournd and under the home. These stations are weatherproof, prebaited and disposable once feeding has stopped.
For medium to heavy rodent activity where repeat baiting would be expected, we would recommend looking at one of our Rodent Baiting Kits that comes with a 4lb pail of Fastrac Blox and 6 or 12 bait stations (6 stations for rats / 12 stations for mice)
Please view our Rat and Mice Treatment Guide for more information.

Wanting to get rid of Feral hogs
It is possible that deer could be attracted to the food based ingredients in the Just One Bite though baits should not be used in areas that would be exposed to wildlife. It is not for killing hogs, only rodents.
Per the product label: Apply bait in locations out of reach of children, pets, domestic animals and nontarget wildlife, or in tamper-resistant bait stations. These stations must be resistant to destruction by dogs and by children under six years of age, and must be used in a manner that prevents such children from reaching into bait compartments and obtaining bait. If bait can be shaken from stations when they are lifted, units must be secured or otherwise immobilized. Even stronger bait stations are needed in areas open to hoofed livestock, raccoons, bears or other potentially destructive animals, or in areas prone to vandalism.
Do not apply further than 50 feet from agricultural buildings
Unused Farnam Just One Bite II Bars can be stored in any sealed container or ziplock bag until needed again. They have a shelflife of 2-3 years after the manufactured date.

Farnam Just One Bite II Bars are only labeled to kill rats and mice.
Please view our Gopher Control Products and Gopher Treatment Guide for treatment options.
Farnam Just One Bite II Bars works best when placed in tamper-resistant bait stations. Bait stations are mandatory for outdoor, above-ground use. Tamper-resistant bait stations must be used if children, pets, non-target mammals, or birds may access the bait. You can find all the stations we offer under our Rodent Guide. Keep in mind that Farnam Just One Bite II Bars are for use only in and around agricultural buildings, per the product label.

Farnam Just One Bite II Bars is not a dehydrating product nor will it prevent an odor from deceased rodents. There is no way to guarantee where a rodent will die after consuming a rodenticide. We recommend baiting outdoors and using snap traps/glue boards indoors.
