However it is primarily a protein bait so if the ants are not going to it you may need to incorporate using a sugar based bait with it to see if this is the nutrional base they are looking for. Also, ants do not always forage for food just like we do not always eat. If they are hungry or needing food for the colony they will search for it and pick it up to take back; if they are not hungry or don't currently need food, they will walk right past it. We would suggest making sure fresh bait is always out and test to see if they are actively looking for food before placing the bait around the home by putting out a dap of peanut butter and a dab of honey in lids of bottles or on tin foil, or try tossing a potato chip in the area of the ants outdoors. -

The amount of ProBait Ant Bait will depend on the treatment for mound applications and broadcast. You should not exceed more than 2lbs per acre. You will apply 2-5 level TBSP per mound application and 2-4 oz per 5,000 of broadcast treatment.

ProBait Ant Bait is not labeled for use in grazing pastures of any animals. Extinguish Plus would be the better option and there are no grazing restrictions for companion animals, ie horses.

The label does not mention pavement ants but does mention similar ants. I was wondering irfan the product is effective on Pavement ants.AProBait Ant Bait is not labeled specifically for pavement ants.  Advance 375A does list pavement ants on the label.
