    Q
What is the best treatment for moth control in a 10 x 12 storage closet?
I am considering the the Pro-Control Plus Total Release - 6 oz.
    A

Pro-Control Plus Total Release - 6 oz would not be recommended only because the label on mentions small moths and does not name the species of moth. While the Pro Control Plus Total Release 6oz fogger will leave an 8 week residual, it would not be the best treatment for long term control. Most fogg…

    Q
Will Pro-Control Plus Total Release kill carpet beetles and larvae?
Can I use Pro Control Plus Total Release in the attic and will it destroy/kill both the larvae and carpet beetles?
    A

We would not recommend using Pro-Control Plus Total Release for carpet beetles/larvae as it will only kill larvae/adult carpet beetles that are out in the open at the time you set it off.  It will not get into the cracks and crevices where the larvae prefer to feed/harbor unless you use something t…

    Q
What would be the best fogger recommended for roach control in an apartment?
    A

Pro-Control Plus Total Release - 6 oz. is labeled for roach control, however will only kill the roaches or other insects that are out in the open areas of the home while the fogger is being dispursed. Foggers alone will not eradicate a roach infestation. One of our roach control kits would be reco…

    Q
How much square footage does the Pro-Control Plus Total Release - 6 oz.?
We are moving into a home that was flea infested. we want to make sure that there are no more fleas and any other bugs that may be in there. The home is about 5,000 square feet. How many cans do I need to use to make sure I am covering square footage?
    A

The Pro-Control Plus Total Release - 6 oz. wil treat approx. 600 sq feet. We normally do not recommend bombing to treat for fleas. The reason being that when you bomb you are only killing the insects that come in contact with the active ingredient. You want to use products that will break down the…

    Q
How can this be used to treat 20 ft ceilings? Or can it?
I need to treat the welding shop in our Training Center for spiders, which measures 50' x 50' x 20' for a total of 50,000 cu ft.
    A

The Pro-Control Plus Total Release for a 6 oz. can treats up to 5,000 cubic feet of unobstructed space. You would need 50 cans to treat 50,000 cubic feet. A more economical and faster treatment would be to use a Fogging Machine and a Fogging Solution approved for this use. Always be sure the produc…

    Q
Will Pro Control work for Scorpions in attics?
I am looking for an attic fogger for a full size 2000sq ft home. I believe I have scorpions in the walls and attic. I have a gas heater. what would you recommend?
    A

Delta Dust is good to use as part of a scorpion control program and would be a great product to apply to the cracks and crevices in the attic. Delta dust can be applied using a hand duster directly behind baseboards, to window and door frames, corners, pipes, storage locations, attics, crawl spaces…

    Q
Can I put the Pro-Control Plus Total Release - 6 oz. fogger in my bedroom fireplace?
I have a moth infestation in my fireplace in my bedroom. Is it safe to release the fogger there? Will it be dangerous for us to sleep in the bedroom. All the gas valves will be off.
    A

<span font-size:13.3333330154419px"="">There really are not any specific products that are labeled for use in a fireplace.  You have to be careful when applying pesticides and then heating it because of the fumes. Have you tried burning a fire in your fireplace for abo…

    Q
We have cans of this left over from a treatment 3 years ago. Is the product still good?
    A

The Pro Control could certainly still be good if it was stored properly over that 3 year time frame. Most insecticides are good for at least 3 years and often up to 5 years.

    Q
Will Pro Control Plus Total Release kill bird mites?
    A

Pro Control Plus Total Release is not labeled for the treatment of bird mites. It is important to be absolutely sure you are actually dealing with bird mites. Q
I have small black ants in my attic. Is this effective for them?
The ants are crawling down the bathroom ceiling vent & ending up in our tub. Seems they are attracted to moisture. Also, would this product work on stink bugs?
    A

The Pro Control Plus is only to be used in non inhabited areas like attics and crawlspaces. Although this would kill some of the ants and any stink bugs that are present when the bomb goes off, this will not get rid of either insect at the source. Foggers only effect insects that are out in the open…

  • Asked by Kevin

    Q
Are there additional concerns when using Pro Control Plus foggers in a home with a pregnant woman?
We have a baby due in about a month, and the apartment we are renting has an occasional flea (neighbors cats are the source I believe). Should I avoid this product all together or perhaps just use additional precautions?
    A

Just common sense precautions need to be used. All people and pets should be out of the home while the foggers are being deployed, and they should stay out for at last two hours (Be sure all windows and exterior doors are closed). After two hours, the windows should be opened and the home should be …

    Q
I'm trying to get rid of spiders using Pro Control Plus Total Release Aerosol.
I want to use in the Pro Control Plus Total Release in the laundry room, oil tank room and basement. All the rooms are connected. Will the fogger turn corners, or do I need one can for each room?
    A

We think you would get better results using one can per room. Since you place the cans in the middle of the room and the fog goes straight up to the ceiling and then straight down, you will not get much movement left and right and around corners. One can per room will yield much better results.
