Product Overview

The Protecta EVO Tunnel is a cost-effective way to protect rat and mouse traps. It is a ready-to-use rodent trap containment device that provides discreet and tamper-resistant coverage for rat and mouse traps. The tunnel accommodates 2 Trapper T-Rex traps,2 Trapper T-Rex iQ traps, or other rat traps of similar size. It can also fit mouse size traps such as 2 Mini T-Rex traps or 2 Trapper Mouse glue board traps. Traps are sold separately. The Protecta EVO Tunnel can be easily opened and locked using the included EVO key. Stackable for easy handling. Excellent for both indoor and outdoor use. For better security, use cable ties when attaching the tunnels to pipes or fences in horizontal or vertical positions. Replacement keys can be found here if needed. Please note that you will receive one key per order (not one key per station). Additonal keys may be purchased here.

Snap traps slide right in holders. Worked great on Chipmunk colony. I use peanut butter in bait cup with sunflower seeds sprinkled on top. Traps not included

These traps usually work well and do result in a creature being caught. The plastic trap can be chewed (we found out the hard way) and a few times the bate has been eaten without snapping the trap.

I have been using these for a while now, I have dogs and cats on the property and it does prevent the dogs and cats from getting hurt by the traps, the T-rex traps are very pain full when they close, they are effective in killing the rats, but would hurt your pets a lot. These tunnels prevent most injuries. Can they still stick their paws in there? Yes, but so far they have protected my nosey dogs from getting hurt my the traps. Its truly the best I found on the market so far.

We suggest that you refer to our helpful and informative Rat Treatment & Control Guide for all of the recommended steps on getting rid of rats inside of your home, and for links to related products. Keep in mind that sanitation and exclusion are keys to Rat Prevention, which means cleaning inside of your home thoroughly, removing any food sources that draw them in, and locating their entry point and sealing it off to prevent them from entering in the future. We typically recommend baiting outside the home in tamper resistant bait stations and indoors, using glueboards or snaptraps. For severe rodent populations, Fastrac Blox would be suggested for a knockdown/cleanout treatment. This rodent bait is a single feed bait with a kill time of 1-3 days. Please remember, heavy rodent populations can not be eliminated overnight and result times can vary on full elimination.
