    Q
Can I safely apply Quinclorac 75 DF to a newly sodded zoysia lawn that was started last fall?
Can I safely apply this to a lawn I sodded with zoysia last fall? It is mid March now and it is just barely starting show green growth. I am nervous as this was a huge investment. Worried about it rooting well. Been pulling weeds instead. Thanks!
    A

Quinclorac 75 DF can be applied as long as the lawn has been mowed at least twice so that it is well established.

    Q
How long after putting down Dimension for my pre-emergent can Quinclorac be used for the weeds that have sprouted along the walkways?
    A

There is no issue with putting down a post-emergent such as Quinclorac with your Dimension pre-emergent application. We do recommend that you do a jar test to ensure proper mixing beofre adding to your tank, and also that you add a surfactant for the Quinclorac to be more effective.

  • Asked by Jason from Belmont

    Q
Is Quinclorac 75 DF bee safe?
We have several hives next door to us. If this does happen to drift, will it impact the hives?
    A

We would recommend applying Quinclorac 75 DF in the morning or late evening to avoid any contact with bees in the area to be safe.  Treated areas are safe once dry and it would be recommend to apply on a non windy day to avoid drift contacting the hives.
